Angels & Airwaves Release New Video “Losing My Mind” (with a nod to blink-182)


Angels & Airwaves have released a new single and video, “Losing My Mind.” The video features frontman Tom DeLonge’s alter-ego Disco, brother to Boomer from blink-182’s “First Date” music video.  The video sees Disco on a grand adventure through the Las Vegas strip late at night alongside TikTok dance sensation, Rampage. The official video’s release also comes with another, more edgy director’s cut video that is now live on the band’s website.

THRICE RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘SCAVENGERS’


Fresh off last week’s announcement of their upcoming 11th studio album Horizons/East, California-based rock band Thrice has dropped a visually stunning music video in support of their newest single “Scavengers” today. Directed by DJay Brawner, the video transports viewers to a different world; one of mystery and disguises that leaves viewers unsure of whom to trust and where to turn. Sonically, “Scavengers” is driven by a dark and intricate braid of guitar and drum grooves, while the lyrics challenge listeners to discern between the issues and information that bond us versus those that disintegrate and destroy.

INTERVIEW – Minneriket: “No walls, no barriers, no images, no politics, just pure, undefiled emotions. Raw, honest and self-reflecting. That is Romantic Black Metal”

For the first time, the Norwegian music project Minneriket presents a full line-up of session musicians. Continuing the collaboration with Misstiq, Margarita Chernova and Norlene Olmedo introduced on the first new single, ‘Hjemlengsel’, which was released back in February 2021. The new single ‘Sorg og savn’, which was recently released on 25th June 2021, also features renowned musicians Māra Lisenko, Christina Rotondo, Elvann, Niklas Kveldulfsson, Ingrid.mariea and Maria Kosma. The latest single, Sorg og savn is the first glimpse of this new roster as vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Stein Akslen, the man behind Minneriket, expands his vision to bring forth a unique Romantic Black metal musical experience which is a sublime concoction of black metal, goth and classical music. We caught up with Stein to discuss this change in direction for him, the new singles and what the future holds, amongst other things.
