YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH NAPALM RECORDS!

Ahoy sailors! Known for their excellent taste and passion for pirates in metal, Napalm Records welcomes a new band to their diverse and exciting artist roster and label family: YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS have signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records! The band’s 3rd studio album titled ‘First Night Back In Port‘ is set to be released on June 30th 2017.

YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS takes you 300 years back in time for an imaginary journey through the harsh life at sea during the early 18th century. With songs inspired by traditional Irish and Scandinavian folk music, acting and elaborate historical clothing the privateers tell a story about the rough sailor’s life, lived on the other side of the law – and the fight against oppression and nationalism.

Together, the nearly 30 crew members take turns to go on tour and plunder, and with around a dozen sailors on stage no two shows are ever the same. The mix of rude folk and punk music invites you to dance and sing along, while the gripping ballads will make the toughest pirate heart soft.

Says the band about their recent signing with Napalm Records:
“Spring has finally come to the Gulf of Botnia, and with the rotting ice we are now able to set sail with some extraordinary good news onboard. We are immensely proud to announce that our chaotic band of Pirates will be joining forces with Napalm Records, to release our next album First Night Back in Port. Lock up the taverns and hide away the Rum, June 30th in the year of our lord 1717 (2017), this Pandora’s box of ear worms goes worldwide!

Putting our pen and ink to the chart of Napalm Records means procuring the fire power to bring the forces of Europe to a total blockade. And by trading our royalties for rum and cherry beer, we estimate that we will save a fortune and a half in the years to come.”

LIFE OF AGONY Premiere New Song “World Gone Mad”

Brooklyn hard rock legends LIFE OF AGONY have completed work on their new album and Napalm Records debut A Place Where There’s No More Pain, which will be released April 28th via Napalm Records. So far only one song from the album has been released to the public, the title track “A Place Where There’s No More Pain”.

Groundbreaking art-rock performer, author and spoken word artist OTEP shook things up at SXSW this past weekend by dropping her latest artistic protest of mounting regressive political actions. OTEP took a further stand for equal rights with the world premiere of her empowering new music video for the heavy, rap-influenced track “Equal Rights Equal Lefts”.

Fans at Colours Couture’s SXSW fashion showcase presented by 3Thirteen Entertainment Group this weekend were treated to the video (directed by Aleks Rastovic) for the first time during OTEP‘s headlining set. The “Equal Rights Equal Lefts” video and track further solidify OTEP‘s diligent quest for equality: “I wrote this song to celebrate and empower all people to live their authentic selves, to live their truth, and to fight for their right to exist. Every day the LGBTQ community faces bigotry, bullying, ridicule and legislative attacks. We are not “the other”. We are your friends, your family, your neighbors, your coworkers, your doctors, nurses, soldiers and fellow Americans. Simply put, this song and this video are about love and equality.”

JINJER Premiere Live Session Video For Track “Pisces”!

This is not just an ordinary music video premiere! Ukraine based JINJER have decided to release the track “Pisces” off of their latest effort “King Of Everything” (2016, Napalm Records) in support of their upcoming tour as special live session video!

Band comments about the concept behind filming a new music video:
“I believe we had this idea to record a new version of “Pisces” when we first rehearsed the song with Vlad Ulasevich as a new drummer. His drumming makes the song sound really different. So we finally had some free time last winter, we went to Istok studio in Kiev, did a live recording and shooting, then added over some extra lines, like a few backing vocals and guitars, then Max from Morton Studio made this new magnificent version of mixing and here we are – Pisces video. I hope you will enjoy it!”

Their latest lyric video for the track “Captain Clock” has also been released just a little time ago.

Aarrrrrrrr, the one and only heavy metal pirates of ALESTORM are back, and they’ve brought with them their 5th full length album titled ‘No Grave But The Sea‘! Time to put on your eyepatch and let the rum flow freely for the unstoppable international party machine, as ALESTORM have finally announced first and hotly anticipated details on their brand new album!

‘No Grave But The Sea‘ will be released on May 26th 2017 on Napalm Records, now the band fronted by Captain Chris Bowes unveiled their upcoming album cover art as well as track listing.

Captain Christopher Bowes commented on the album:
“Oh wow! It’s a new Alestorm album! I hope all of you fellow humans & dogs like it; we think it’s pretty gosh darn ok! It’s also our first album to feature our grandiose guitarist Máté Bodor who brings his tasty & delicious solos and rifftacular riffing into the mix. This is the place in the press release where we would usually tell you this album is darker and heavier than our previous works, but that’s probably not true.
