BLEED FROM WITHIN – launch video for ”Afterlife“ taken from their upcoming album, “Era”

BLEED FROM WITHIN are excited to launch the 2nd video taken from their upcoming album, “Era”. Guitarist Craig Gowans directed the video himself for 12 Inch Media.

The band about the song and video: ‘Alive’ was the perfect first single for us to showcase our new material given its melodic edge. ‘Afterlife’ however, is an entirely different beast; the lyrics are darker and the groove is nasty. 
The new album combines melody and aggression from song to song & it was important for us to show that with the first few tracks we released. We feel that this brutality is a great contrast to the harmony of ‘Alive’. 
Our own Craig Gowans was in charge of directing/editing this video and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. A true monster of a song. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

American death metallers ARSIS sign record deal with Agonia Records

Virginia Beach, VA’s ARSIS, a standout in the technical, melodic death metal genre, has signed a worldwide record deal with Agonia Records, excluding North, South and Central America, in which the band will be released by Nuclear Blast Records. ARSIS has entered Audio Hammer Studio in Florida in late 2017 with producer Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Devildriver, Cannibal Corpse) to begin work on their 6th studio album, follow-up to “Unwelcome” (2013). MIDNATTSOL Unveil First Details Of Upcoming Album with Liv Kristine

In December 2017, it was announced that Liv Kristine joined MIDNATTSOL as their official second singer – right next to her very talented sister Carmen Elise Espenæs

The name „Espenæs“ rightfully makes people swoon: Liv Kristine and Carmen Elise were a vital part of a magnitude of gothic / symphonic / folk metal milestones – but so far a supergroup involving both sisters sharing microphone duties was only the stuff dreams were made of. This truly is full sister power!
Now the band has unveiled the first details of their upcoming album entitled “The Aftermath”.  This includes the first teaser, release date, album artwork, track listing and available formats!
“The Aftermath” relies much more heavily on folk influences lending atmospheric density to the melancholic symphonic metal compositions. It is a sumptuous and sensual affair and a shimmering highlight in the discography of this German / Norwegian team!
