The Hypothesis has entered to studio with the drummer of the Stratovarius

After releasing their succesful melodic death metal debut album in May 2016 The Hypothesis is now making some line changes. The drummer Waltteri Väyrynen – drummer will focus in his main band Paradise Lost and The Hypothesis has added a new drummer, Rolf Pilve from STRATOVARIUS.

There is no drama involved with the line change. The Hypothesis frontman Juuso Turkki comments:

“Waltteri is and always will be a friend of ours and we will share the stage again someday!”

The new drummer Rolf Pilve comments:

“I am so glad to be a part of The Hypothesis! Juuso is an old friend of mine and the collaboration with him and the guys of The Hypothesis has always been fantastic!”

The band has already set their foot into the studio to record new material.

Detroit’s dark music machine Hate Unbound to release album in February!

Somewhere in the dark depths of death and thrash metal, lies the inspiration for Hate Unbound’s new album Plague. Those influences remained constant throughout Hate Unbound’s writing and arranging process which is a collaborative effort between all members of the band.

Plague was recorded, mixed and mastered during the spring and summer of 2016 at Elaire Studios which is located in the shadow of the decaying city of Detroit, Michigan.

Hate Unbound’s Plague is a tribute to, as well as a continuation of, all things heavy. And a salute to all headbangers everywhere. Plague is released February 17th 2017 via Inverse Records.

The Swedish metal force PAIN, led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, LINDEMANN), just revealed a new video clip for the titletrack “Coming Home”, out of their current record. The clip includes filmed material from PAIN‘s latest word tour, directed by Zoran Bihac.

“He was following us for a few gigs on the Europe tour, filming and kept some great pics, enjoy”, adds Peter Tägtgren.
