Symphonic black metal band Welicoruss has published a documentary about history of their band, entitled “15 years Of Madness” and dedicated to the band’s 15th anniversary.This film shows band from its inception to the present day, including many rare footage, backstages. Documentary is divided into two parts – in the first part – Alexey, the leader and founder of Welicoruss, and the former members tell what they have come to go through during the Russian part of their biography, and the second period – after Alexey’s relocation to Europe and next studio and tour activities. The film touches theme of development of metal music and metal scene in Russia and Siberia, as well as the reasons why Alexey left his native land.

Crobar – Documentary To Save Soho Announced & Crowdfunder Halfway Point Hit
The Crobar, the much-loved rock and metal establishment on Manette Street, Soho, reaches the halfway mark since starting its #crofund.
When The Crobar announced its closure, fans around the world contributed to an online raffle to win big prizes like Dave Grohl’s drum cymbal to help pay the bar staff who found themselves permanently out of work, raising £20,000.
ENSLAVED honoured with 12-part documentary series on Norwegian TV + YouTube
Enslaved are being honoured with an elaborate 12 part television documentary named Heimvegen (The Way Home), which is broadcast every Saturday on Norwegian TV (TV Haugaland) and on YouTube. All episodes are subtitled into English.
The documentary offers a detailed insight into the history of the band, following Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson as they guide us through the journey of Enslaved‘s formative years.

I can remember at school in the 1970s, friends buying Roxy Music albums mainly for their album covers, and I am old enough to remember Cher when she remembered to put her dress on over her underclothes before she came out onto the stage to perform.
Still, time moves on and even now we have any number of female musicians who are an integral part of the Heavy Metal scene. Not just as singers, but guitarists and drummers as well. We were able to catch up with a number of musicians to find out what attracted them to the hard and heavy music world and if they had a story of how they took the plunge, what challenges they faced, and how things have changed, or if they have at all.”
