Metallica has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be extended into a third year, with the announcement of 21 North American shows spanning April, May and June 2025.
Two-night tickets for the newly announced No Repeat Weekends and tickets for the single-night engagements will be on sale September 27 at 10am local time. Post Mortem, set for release on December 20, 2024 via Napalm Records, arrives not even two years after their 2023 predecessor, Himmelfahrt, was secretly intended to be the final album of their over 30-year career.
The hybrid metal band Keoma from Helsinki, Finland founded in 2008, has released their third single called “Mutakuningas” from the upcoming third album. In the song, Keoma combines many sub-genres of metal, heavier expression and a little touch of punk. The difference to the band’s other productions is also the song’s Finnish lyrics.
Finnish Symphonic metal veterans NIGHTWISH have shared a new song today, ‘An Ocean of Strange Islands’, available for streaming now. The track is the third to be taken from their upcoming studio album Yesterwynde, due 20th September via Nuclear Blast.
Rocket-fuelled Canadian act SPIRITBOX have today announced their biggest London show yet. The group will perform at the legendary Alexandra Palace on 13th February, 2025. This will be Spiritbox‘s only UK headline show in 2025.
Tickets are expected to fly as soon as they go on sale. The group’s last London shows – multiple nights at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden – sold out in minutes. Presales begin immediately, and tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday 28th August. Set your alarm and don’t delay if you want to go!
