Grammy-nominated, Lancaster five-piece AUGUST BURNS RED — JB Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass] — release an instrumental holiday cover song every year. This year, they’ve chosen the classical track “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and have given it quite the guitar-driven and metallic makeover.

88 new acts confirmed for Graspop Metal Meeting 2025!


With as many as five headliners already announced, GMM are now fleshing out the line-up with another 88 acts for the upcoming 28th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting. Amenra, Dream Theater, Falling In Reverse, King Diamond, Lorna Shore, Savatage and Spiritbox are among the more than 130 bands who will give it their all on the hallowed grounds of Graspop Metal Meeting from Thursday 19 through Sunday 22 June 2025.

BURNING WITCHES Enchant with New Single “The Spell Of The Skull” + Official Video


BURNING WITCHES bring back the vibe of 80s heavy metal and update their powerful force with renewed sonic clarity on their upcoming maxi-single, The Spell Of The Skull, set for release via Napalm Records on December 10, 2024! With screaming guitars, the Swiss band is back for a heavy metal blast session in the snow. 

This time, they curse their audience with two new songs from their latest conjuring of witchcraft. Witchqueen Romana Kalkuhl hypnotizes your mind with her melodic riffs, while diabolic priestess Laura Guldemond conquers your soul with crowd pleasing shouts. Title track “The Spell Of The Skull” starts off with a short but mighty heavy guitar intro that perfectly sets up Laura’s powerful vocals, which especially shine in the chorus of the song, making it a true sing-a-long experience and creating an epic atmosphere pleasing every fan of heavy metal!

Killswitch Engage Announce Winter + Spring 2025 Headline Tour + Announce Revolver Special Issue


Three-time Grammy-nominated hard rock heavyweights and platinum-selling band Killswitch Engage  Jesse Leach, vocals; Adam Dutkiewicz, guitar; Joel Stroetzel, guitar; Mike D’Antonio, bass; and Justin Foley, drums —are returning to the road this winter and spring.

Fresh off a 25th anniversary performance headlining the vaunted New England Metal & Hardcore Fest last month, the band will embark on a headline run in March. It’s their first tour of North America since late 2022, as the band has been busy working on new material.
