GHOST: SKELETÁ #1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200

Transcending genre and defying trends, GHOST’s SKELETÁ has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The #1 album in the country, SKELETÁ accrued sales of 86,000 in the week since its April 25 release via Loma Vista Recordings.

Currently the world’s biggest-selling album and the week’s lone Top 10 debut, SKELETÁ’s first week haul bests the nearly 70,000 moved by its predecessor IMPERA in its first week of release. SKELETÁ also landed at #1 on the U.S. Album, Vinyl Album, Indie Store Album, Independent Album, Rock Album, Rock and Alternative Album, and Hard Rock Album charts. Internationally, the album bowed at #1 in the GRAMMY-winning theatrical rock outfit’s native Sweden as well as Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and Finland, #2 in the UK, Netherlands and Norway, #4 in France and #6 in Ireland, among others.

RISE AGAINST release new video “Pain mgmt” + UK tour dates start this November

In response to the recent wave of proposed and actual book bans, Rise Against today shared a cinematic, action-packed new video for “Pain Mgmt,” their impassioned latest single off the Nowhere Generation II EP, released in June via Loma Vista Recordings. The video, directed by activist art collective Indecline, depicts a world that sees literary works under physical attack. “Of the many unthinkable battles we find ourselves forced into by those who seem hellbent on paralyzing an educated and inspired populace, the battle for knowledge seems more relevant today than it ever has. From our classrooms to our collectives, knowledge is the only weapon that can liberate a people without violence,” explains Indecline. “In the face of the ever changing brands of fascism and control, all resources and energy must be exhausted to ensure everyone has access to their own mental and spiritual liberation.”

Rise Against Share New Interactive Video For “Talking To Ourselves”

Rise Against today shared their gripping new video for Nowhere Generation single “Talking To Ourselves”—a stand-out track about falling to complacency and feeling as though no one is listening—that features evolving and cryptic transmissions for fans to discover via QR codes and encouraged to follow over the next few weeks. “The intention behind the video was to yet again shed light on us as a society and to expand on the feeling that we have progressively lost our humanity. In our video, the QR codes represent little windows to the world outside of our bubbles, only to be dismissed and swiped onto the next event,” explains director Ryan Valdez. “It feels so bleak. Heartbreaking headlines are so disposable and just another hashtag buried in the news of celebrity gossip and trending dances. As we watch and Tim sings ‘Are we talking to ourselves,’ I hope it reminds us to be human, listen, speak up and do better.”
