Download Festival is the UK’s biggest, friendliest and most diverse rock/metal festivals and it gets bigger and better each year. This year particularly had a strong theme of environmental sustainability, with their new recycling scheme for beer glasses, using plastic reusable cups which you could keep and reuse or give back and made for a nice memento along with the introduction of Greenpeace’s Eco Campsite. Viewing platforms for wheelchair-users were available across all stages and British Sign Language interpreters on two, again highlighting the festivals diversity and how it accommodates for everyone which is great to see.

JONATHAN DAVIS releases video for new single “Everyone”

Jonathan Davis has released the video for “Everyone”, the second single from his highly anticipated debut solo album Black Labyrinth, set for release on May 25th via Sumerian Records – CLICK HERE to hear Davis’s unforgettable vocals, synths and commanding guitars, and CLICK HERE to watch the accompanying video that captures a jarring depiction of the dangers of “follow the leader” tendencies by extremist cults.

JONATHAN DAVIS releases first single from debut solo album, “What It Is”

 Jonathan Davis, the storied frontman of critically lauded rock band Korn, has released “What It Is,” the diverse and distinctive first single from his forthcoming debut solo album. The new track, which premiered on SiriusXM’s rock station Octane, is set for release on Sumerian Records in Summer 2018.

The new music represents a natural step for the Bakersfield, CA singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Davis quietly compiled ideas for what would become this solo effort beginning back in 2007. Writing and recording on the road, he personally contributed guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on to the record. Moreover, the music was primarily recorded live, a departure from Korn’s heavily calculated, meticulous, studio approach to creation.
