FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES JOIN DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL LINE-UP + 4 OTHER ACTS


Following their massive headline set at last year’s euphoric and emotional Download Pilot event, it is announced today that Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes will be joining this year’s Download festival, alongside four other new additions, including Napalm Death and PENGSHUi. Download 2022 is the big reunion of the rock community, as the festival makes its highly anticipated return with the first full-scale Download in three years and a gargantuan line-up of the world’s most exciting bands in rock, pop punk, hardcore, metal and much more. FULL LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR DOWNLOAD PILOT 10,000 CAPACITY THREE-DAY CAMPING ONLY TEST EVENT


Festival Republic have today announced the line-up for the ‘Download Pilot’. The 10,000 capacity, camping only festival will take place on 18-20 June 2021 on the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, as part of the Government’s scientific Events Research Programme. Testament to the depth of talent and strength of the UK’s world-leading rock scene, 40 acts all of whom are UK based have been revealed with headliners Frank Carter & The RattlesnakesEnter Shikari and Bullet For My Valentine as well as a host of the hottest names in rock, including Neck Deep, While She Sleeps, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Sleep Token, Creeper and many more across two stages. Download Festival, the world’s premier rock event, has announced further acts including ALTER BRIDGE, BOWLING FOR SOUP, FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES, MASTODON, THE DISTILLERS, SEPULTURA, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE and FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, to join headliners IRON MAIDEN (Legacy of the Beast Tour)KISS and SYSTEM OF A DOWN this summer. NXT UK is returning to deliver more knockout entertainment over the weekend, and Kerrang! Radio will host FINDING FRESH BLOOD for another year – searching for the best emerging acts in the world of rock to perform on The Avalanche Stage.
