There has been no shortage of dance, indie or nostalgia focused one-day
festivals in North East but never a purely alternative-based festival on this scale.
RISEFEST is now here to fill that gap to create something that the North East
scene has been sorely missing.
Featuring a jam-packed line-up including headliners FRANK
CARTER AND THE RATTLESNAKES, CREEPER, BOSTON MANOR,
HIGHER POWER, VUKOVI, CASSYETTE and many more of the biggest and
best of the UK Alternative acts for one day only across two stages live from the heart of Newcastle!
BLOODSTOCK festival is thrilled to already be looking ahead and announcing a swathe of awesome bands for the 2023 event, which is set to take place on 10th-13th August 2022 at Catton Park, Derbyshire.
Metalcore pioneers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are set to headline the Ronnie James Dio main stage on Friday, their first ever appearance at the festival. Meanwhile, thrash legends MEGADETH will close out proceedings in spectacular style on Sunday night. Other confirmed main stage bands include DEVILDRIVER, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, KNOCKED LOOSE, DECAPITATED and GATECREEPER.

70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise has announced that their eleventh sailing will be hosted on board The Freedom of the Seas from Miami, Florida to Bimini, The Bahamas from January 30th to February 3rd, 2023.
True to their claim, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise will include 60 bands over four stages. The festival boasts three indoor stages and most importantly, the outdoor Pool Deck Stage: The World’s Biggest Open Air Stage Structure to sail the Open Seas featuring hot tubs incorporated into the stage itself. Fans can watch their favorite band perform on a world-class stage from the comfort of a hot tub. All shows are included in the ticket price.
