World Gone Release Official Video for “Feed the Machine”

Florida based Metal band World Gone has released the Official Music Video for their single, “Feed The Machine.” Self-directed and produced, “Feed The Machine” was shot in a Florida bunker.

“Feed the Machine” is a story of human enslavement and the struggle to find a way to finally be free. Afraid of death, future loss, injury, and imprisonment, the majority of humans have become easily controlled and dominated by the powerful few. The greatest resource in history has not been gold or oil, it has been the extortion of other humans. You can’t get a hen to lay more eggs by threatening it but you can get a human to give you his eggs by threatening him. Human fear farming has been the most lucrative trade of all time and even now continues to feed the evil plans for domination of the universe by the bloated, power mad, and greedy Human Coercion Machine.World Gone

NOCTE OBDUCTA: „Totholz (Ein Raunen aus dem Klammwald)“ will be released on May 26th!

The new Nocte Obducta album “Totholz (Ein Raunen aus dem Klammwald)”, which already available on the band’s live shows, will be officially released on May 26th. Here, Nocte Obducta close the circle to their musical roots and deliver a rough piece of metal with the band’s typic harmonies. Above you can find the atmosperic cover art in anticipation of the album.

THE MOTH GATHERER stream new EP “The Comfortable Low” via Invisible Oranges

wedish post-rock/sludge/doom/hardcore wizards with electronic vibes, THE MOTH GATHERER, are premiering their new EP “The Comfortable Low” exclusively via Invisible Oranges, prior to its March 31st release on Agonia Records. The two-track EP includes a guest appearance from Dennis Lyxzén (of Refused fame) and  Fred Burman (Satan Takes A Holiday). Listen to the band’s first new material since “The Earth Is The Sky” album here:

The Moth Gatherer – ‘The Comfortable Low’ (EP Premiere)

Sound-wise, the EP is a nod towards the band’s debut album, “A Bright Celestial Light” (2013), and a wink towards their hardcore and electronic side.

THE MOTH GATHERER commented: “After ‘The Earth Is The Sky’ (2015) we felt like we needed to push our limits while not forgetting our roots. Our roots in hardcore and our current interest in electronica made their mark on these two songs, a constant travel through harsh and beautiful soundscapes. The music and lyrics are supposed to feel like painful beauty and to provoke reflection. The themes revolve around an inner search, a way to rise while being pushed down by depression”.

The new material was once again recorded with Karl Daniel Lidén behind the console and clothed with artwork prepared by SCG. “They both feel like an integral part of the The Moth Gatherer” – concluded the band.

REVIEW: Neoheresy- Oblawa

Neoheresy- Oblawa Review by Ekaterina K.

neoheresy.jpg

Neoheresy was brought into being in the year 2012. After recording the last material named Hellveto “Damnaretis”, it is time for a stylistic evolution resulting in the change of the project’s name.

The Music conception of the Neoheresy horde is directed towards monumental Black Metal with the influence of ancient folk and symphonic music as well as the lyrical, vocal part, and live drums. Some types of electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, synths and ethnical instruments are being used in this project.

The Musically Neoheresy has an emotional and hegemonic overtone due to the solo character of the performance.
As was mentioned in description, Neoheresy’s genre is black metal. But, surprisingly, there’s only a small part of their music consists from pagan black metal as we used listen to. “Oblawa” is more deep and diverse album with real atmospheric tunes, creating associations with obscurantism of Middle Ages, half-mysterious beliefs of people and witchery.

A lot of additional instruments, choir and symphonic parts create unique atmosphere. It all begins with an intro – “Preludium”, with horse’s hooves sound in the background which adds a bit of intriguing mystery. Vocals is worth to mention – from croak it goes to narrative, as in “Powróca…    ” for instance, which catch the attention along with Polish lyrics.

What differs that album is that there’s no “standard” black-metal guitar riffs and characteristic “heaviness”. Guitar work itself is used as an additive, but perfectly fits in the songs structure. Choirs are presented almost in every song and they give certain volume and epicness to the album. Neoheresy found this golden mean – a lot of elements are used in songs, but sound is not overloaded. It’s hard to classify it to any black metal subgenres, as this album is too original and deep to fit in any frames.

Score: 5/5.

“Oblawa” was released in January 2017 by Elegy Records.
