THE HAUNTED – “Strength In Numbers” album details; “Brute Force” single/video online!

Swedish Thrash Metallers THE HAUNTED are geared up to kick off the promotional campaign for their upcoming, 9th studio album effort entitled “Strength In Numbers”. Recorded at Parlour Studios in the UK with producer Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Exploited), the album will be released worldwide via Century Media Records on August 25th, 2017 and it’s time to reveal the first details about the release…

The album’s first single for the merciless and in-your-face track “Brute Force” is debuting today, so check it out in a video produced by Oscar Dziedziela / OD Visual here:

THE HAUNTED checked in to comment on the track as follows: “We’re very excited to finally be able to air our first single from the new album “Strength In Numbers” and let it set the tone for the brutality of the album. “Brute Force” is one of those songs written in the early stage of making the album and shows our hunger to make new music, uncompromising, unforgiving and just to the point.”

The artwork for “Strength In Numbers” was once again created by THE HAUNTED’s longtime designer Andreas Pettersson and the album’s tracklisting reads as follows:

And last but not least, a strictly limited Deluxe LP package will be available from CM Distro / CM Webshop in Europe. This very special edition is limited to 500x copies on transparent red coloured vinyl and comes with a printed guitar tablature book, a poster, a set of 3 guitar-picks and the entire album on CD as bonus. ABORTED – release of new 2-track EP “Bathos” announced

Belgium’s busy-as-a-beaver death metal sickos ABORTED have recorded two new tracks for you, which are going to be released under the title “Bathos” as a limited 7” vinyl EP and digitally.

The 7” version will be released on July 7th! If you want to check out the two tracks first, then visit the streaming/download platform of your choice on June 30th, because both tracks will be online by then already!

“Bathos” is a fine example of what ABORTED have managed to achieve by hard work, staying focussed, excellent musicianship and the unwavering belief in what they are doing by offering two prime tracks of relentlessly raging, barbaric and horror-laden insane brutal death metal.

Great news from Sweden’s infamous rockers DEAD LORD…

“We’ve been entrenched in Cuervo Recording Service’s studio in Madrid, Spain for the last week to put down what will become Dead Lord’s third album. And here’s a spoiler for you: It sounds dynamite! We once again teamed up with Ola Ersfjord to record and co-produce, whom we’ve worked with on every Dead Lord release to this day, and by now he’s a big part of how we want to sound. We’re cruising all over the spectrum with this album, having recorded some of our hardest songs, which will make you clench your fist and bang your head instantly, as well as some really sensitive tunes that will make your eyes water and reminisce about better days.
