GRAMMY-nominated heavyweights TRIVIUM — vocalist/guitarist Matthew K. Heafy; guitarist Corey Beaulieu; bassist Paolo Gregoletto; and drummer Alex Bent — are thrilled to announce the release of their forthcoming, three-song EP STRUCK DEAD. It arrives on 31st October via longtime label Roadrunner.
While it may only be three songs in length, in typical TRIVIUM fashion, it packs a powerhouse punch, thanks to masterful riffing and the dual-style vocal prowess the band has built its nearly three-decade reputation on! It was produced by TRIVIUM and recorded with Mark Lewis at the band’s Hangar Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was mixed and mastered by Josh Wilbur.

UK’s heaviest metal festival, Bloodstock, returns 7-10th August 2025 at Catton Park, Derbyshire. As always, the line-up is packed and will appease all metalheads with its variety and mix of huge and upcoming bands. With headliners Trivium, Machine Head, and Gojira, the festival is nearly sold out, with Saturday and Sunday completely sold out, and Friday tickets are low. The 2025 edition is going to be a big one! Here are just some of the bands we are excited to see and recommend that you check out over the UK’s heaviest weekend!
Day tickets are running VERY low (only Friday left!), and weekend tickets have also already sold out, so act now if you’ve been putting off getting your ticket! Friday day tickets cost £92 (+ booking fees) – with 37 bands playing that day (not including additional acts in VIP), that’s just £2.48 per band! Maths fans, headbangers who snapped up standard weekend tickets have access to 125 bands over the festival, working out at a mere £1.59 per band (£1.40 if you bought an early bird – definitely worth getting in quickly once 2026 tickets go on sale in August!). Buy tickets in the ticket store.
BLOODSTOCK’s motto has always been, “by the fans, for the fans.” A new initiative starting in 2025 and being announced today typifies this perfectly. Not only that, BLOODSTOCK is pleased to share two very well-deserving charity partners for 2025’s event, and confirm the return of the CD & t-shirt amnesty, as part of some fund-raising efforts. Read on for more details…
BLOODSTOCK is excited to announce The 100! A lucky 50 weekend ticket holders will be chosen at random to be a part of a range of special experiences at this summer’s event!
BLOODSTOCK wants to find the hottest new metal talent to appear across festival weekend next August! With weekend tickets for BLOODSTOCK 2025 now sold out, festival HQ is getting cracking on this year’s instalment of the phenomenally successful Metal 2 The Masses (M2TM) scheme, to fill out the bands who’ll be appearing on the New Blood Stage, in conjunction with sponsor Timothy Taylor.
No other festival does more to support grass roots metal and local venues in the UK. BLOODSTOCK was honoured to be recognised for this at the Heavy Music Awards earlier this summer, taking home top accolade The H Award, for exceptional positive contribution to the heavy music scene by way of the M2TM initiative.
