ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2024 Huge line up announcement


To help celebrate the 10th year (THE TENTH YEAR!) of the mighty ArcTanGent Festival in 2024, todays band announcement is very likely it’s biggest ever band announcement in its history. Yes, it is a biggie, and yes it will make you all very happy.

Announced for this years event are the world renowned, globally acclaimed Scottish post rock band Mogwai, who play the festival for the very first time. An incredibly special band with one of the richest, most varied, interesting and loved back catalogues of music, ArcTanGent Festival is thrilled to have them grace our stages this summer. They are a band that the team at ATG has been trying to book since it began, back in 2013.

ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2023 announces their final main stage headliner, Devin Townsend & more


The mighty ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2023 today announces their final main stage headliner for this years event, The incredible, truly one of a kind Devin Townsend will be closing out the whole festival on the main stage, Saturday night. The festival will be taking place between August 16th through to August 19th, at Fernhill Farm, a short drive from Bristol City Centre.

ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2023 (ATG) announces seven bands


Following on from the last weeks ARCTANGENT Festival 2023 annual ‘Advent Calendar’, where one band a day were announced on a different media platform each day, we can now announce all bands in full from the announcement.

So, the bands and announcement partners are: American noise duo from Atlanta Georgia ’68 (with Upset Magazine), a main stage headliner in Heilung, the phenomenal experimental folk band with members from Denmark, Germany and Norway (with Louder) and London 3 piece (and one of the finest heavy bands in the UK right now) Pupil Slicer (with Rock Sound). Also announced are punk collective Tokky Horror (with Distorted Sound), French hardcore band par excellence Birds In Row (with Knotfest), Connecticut progressive indie rock band The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (with Punktastic) and another main stage headliner, returning legends and one of the greatest bands in the world, Converge (with Kerrang!).

Arctangent Festival already has one of THE line ups for 2022 festivals, and today they announce the very final new band additions for the event, as well as move TesseracT up to main stage headliner status.

ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL announces even more bands for 2022


Arctangent Festival already has one of THE line ups for 2022 festivals, but today it announces even more incredible acts and artists for this years event.

Heading up the announcement are Rhode Island two-piece Lightning Bolt, who are one of the most critically acclaimed and much loved bands in the noise and art rock worlds. Their last album ‘Sonic Citadel’, released on Thrill Jockey back in 2019, is a stunning and raucous clash of post punk, Phillip Glass and Sun Ra soundscapes – a truly incredible band

ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2022 -more acts added + an extra date


ArcTanGent Festival 2022 has revealed a host of even more brilliant new additions to its line-up for next years event at Fernhill Farm, including the full line-up for Wednesday.

For the first time ever, we’re opening ArcTanGent’s doors a day early, with a stacked line-up of bands from 2pm on Wednesday including The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Sugar Horse, Memory of Elephants, Luo, Mother Vulture, Modern Rituals, Mutant-Thoughts, Olanza, The Road, My Octopus Mind, and Lightning Sharks, followed by DJs after dark. Let’s start the party early, avoid the Thursday morning drive, pick the best camping spot and wake up refreshed and ready to do it all over again. A limited number of early entry tickets are on sale now.
