CYPHER16 Releases Striking New Video for “Open The Dark Door”

CYPHER16 just wrapped up a successful 24-city North American tour with headliners Amaranthe, and today, the band is following up with their brand new music video for the single “Open The Dark Door”. The video’s backdrop is the impressive and striking London Natural History Museum, where the band was given behind-the-scenes access to film their “Night At The Museum”-esque footage. The video is packed with fast-paced performance scenes, pyrotechnics and beautiful architectural views. Watch the music video, directed by Ben Thornley of Sitcom Soldiers here:

CYPHER16 is considered to be one of the most anticipated metal/rock bands-to-watch out of the UK, and this video reflects their DIY prowess. Frontman Jack Doolan says: “368 days in the making, “Open The Dark Door” at the Natural History Museum started out as a ridiculous and over-ambitious idea, but thanks to the hard work of a lot of people, became a reality. Like the “Lonely Road” video (which we shot at Battersea Power Station), finding an amazing and awe-inspiring venue was essential. When we somehow convinced the team at the NHM to let us invade for one night, CYPHER16 was not only the first heavy rock band to ever conduct a full-scale shoot both outside and inside the Hintze Hall, but the shoot became one of the last projects to film with Dippy the Dinosaur before he left the museum for his extended tour.

We knew we would have to bring in a great film and direction team to help us make it a reality. Enter Ben, Bez and crew at Sitcom Soldiers, who brought their vision, enthusiasm and expertise and really made it all happen! I hope you all enjoy watching it our ‘night at the museum’ as much as we enjoyed making it, although I won’t deny, it was one of the longest nights of my life!”

After years of performing on stages across the world, fans will see the five-piece rock band from Crete, Greece performing at the biggest punk show of them all – the 2017 Vans Warped Tour, presented by Journeys!

BARB WIRE DOLLS will tour with Vans Warped Tour all summer long, beginning June 16 through August 6, on the Skullcandy Stage. Tickets are on sale now via www.vanswarpedtour.com. See below for a full listing of BARB WIRE DOLLS tour dates.
Frontwoman Isis Queen says: “Vans Warped Tour is where we will reach the youth who have the potential to change the world.  It’s time to inspire, and activate their thunder!”

The Vans Warped Tour is well known as America’s longest running touring music festival of the summer. Since 1995, the tour has been a showcase for both established and up and coming talent, across a wide range of eclectic sub-genres. The tour has also cemented its place in history by bringing alternative rock and skate culture from the underground to the forefront of global youth culture, while at the same time helping those in need through non-profit and eco initiatives.

In celebration of today’s announcement, BARB WIRE DOLLS are pleased to reveal their brand new music video for their track, “Desperate”. Taken from their full-length 2016 Motörhead Music release of the same name, the “Desperate” video is an edgy and somewhat restless experience for the viewer. Let BARB WIRE DOLLS permeate your “personal bubble” – watch “Desperate” here:
