LACUNA COIL – release video for “Blood, Tears, Dust”

March 23, 2017 darkartconspiracy Leave a comment

After returning from a triumphant run throughout South America and right before embarking on some shows with their labelmates Arch Enemy and The Haunted LACUNA COIL are releasing a video clip for one of their crowd favourites, “Blood, Tears, Dust”. The video was directed and edited by Cosimo Alemà and produced by the production company Borotalco.

Cristina Scabbia (vocals) about the video: “Right now I can’t tell you, everything about ‘Blood, Tears, Dust’, as this video is part of something bigger… This is the core of who we are as a band: the sweat, the dirt, the raw energy. It’s our insanity and all of us feeling comfortable with it. I love how by Cosimo Alemà filmed this, the photography, the colors and the hints in the story are perfectly placed and it is the first time we are really ‘acting’. This video is only a part of a much bigger plan… stay tuned. Hope you enjoy this video as much as I do!”

BROTHER FIRETRIBE 15TH ANNIVERSARY EUROPEAN TOUR ANNOUNCED FIRST EVER HEADLINE UK SHOW…

March 23, 2017 darkartconspiracy Leave a comment

Finnish AOR maestros Brother Firetribe are proud to announce their 15^th Anniversary European Tour.

Embarking upon a voyage across 11 different countries, this 19-date headline run not only celebrates the band’s 15 year career, it also features their first bill-topping appearances in certain countries, including the UK…

“We absolutely can’t wait to come back to the UK to hook up with all the friends we made there the last time. It’ll be a riot!” – BFT front-man, Pekka Ansio Heino.

To date, the group’s sole UK performance took place at Firefest in Nottingham in 2014; however, this will change in October of this year when they return to Nottingham for the melodic hard rock festival that is Rockingham, as well as putting on their first headline UK show at the newly re-launched Borderline in Central London.

UK dates as follows:-

21.10. UK – London, Borderline

22.10. UK – Nottingham, Rockingham Festival

Brother Firetribe’s fourth full-length album, ‘Sunbound’, is released on March 24^th via Spinefarm Records.

Featuring 12 new pieces of music, including lead track ‘Taste Of A Champion’ plus follow-up single / video ‘Indelible Heroes’, ‘Sunbound’ has been mixed by Finnish studio-meister Mikko Karmila (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Stratovarius), and is the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Diamond In The Firepit’.

Since first coming together for their ‘False Metal’ debut back in 2006, Brother Firetribe –featuring Nightwish guitarist Emppu Vuorinen – have flown the flag for a brand of music (‘ultra-melodic West Coast AOR’) that once strode the US radio airwaves like a colossus, filling up arenas and providing the silky soundtrack to pool-side summers and wind-in-the-hair coastal highway drives; music pioneered by some of rock music’s most legendary names…

However, Brother Firetribe – that’s Vuorinen, Pekka Ansio Heino, keyboard player Tomppa Nikulainen, bassist Jason Flinck & drummer Hannes Pirila – are not trying to hitch a DeLorean ride into the past; rather, their collective aim is to both celebrate and reinvigorate a musical style that is all about big hooks, strong melodies, soaring vocals and searing guitars, not to mention the desire to entertain on a grand an’ glorious scale.

KOBRA AND THE LOTUS UNLEASH BRAND NEW TRACK FROM UPCOMING ALBUM! US Tour With XANDRIA Confirmed!

March 18, 2017 darkartconspiracy Leave a comment

It’s been three years since Kobra And The Lotus‘ last studio album High Priestess was released back in 2014. The time since has not been wasted; with their third album under their belt, and completing multiple tours worldwide (with the likes of Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Black Label Society, and Fear Factory to name just a few), their path of self-discovery has led them to this most important moment in their career. Prevail I, the band’s latest offering , will be released on May 12th 2017 on Napalm Records, and promises to be a rock juggernaut full of blistering guitars, pounding rhythms and haunting vocal melodies that will take the listener on a sonic journey leading them out from the darkness and into the light! Produced by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Epica etc) and mastered by Grammy award winning Ted Jensen, Prevail Iwill undoubtedly usher the band to much deserved elevated hard rock status. Evolution is inevitable and Kobra And The Lotus have delivered their most powerful album to date.

Let the music speak for itself. To get a taste of Prevail I, Kobra And The Lotus have now unleashed their first single for the stunning track ‘You Don’t Know‘! Stream this new Kobra And The Lotus rock masterpiece right HERE!

Says vocalist Kobra Paige:
“To be alive brings many great things but among those things includes great suffering. It’s painful to feel backed into a corner, judged, misunderstood for who we really are. We can never really know a person until we have seen their point of view, crawled into their skin, and walked a mile in their shoes, but that will never happen. This is the anthem for the man, the woman, the human, navigating their life the best way they can. After all “You don’t know what it’s like to be me!”

Prevail I, with Prevail II to complete the story in the not too distant future, by Kobra And The Lotus, will be released May 12th 2017 on Napalm Records.

The track list reads as follows:

1. Gotham
2. TriggerPulse
3. You Don’t Know
4. Specimen X (The Mortal Chamber)
5. Light Me Up
6. Manifest Destiny
7. Victim
8. Check The Phyrg
9. Hell On Earth
10. Prevail

In addition the North American dates, the band has a handful of European dates on the books with more to come. Don’t miss out on seeing Kobra And The Lotus Live!

Kobra Paige and the band are excited to hit the road:
“It is with great pleasure to announce not only our first tour of the year but also our first unveiling of Prevail I!! We are thrilled to be hitting the road through North America this May in support of Xandria. With Once Human kicking off the night, this is sure to be a fiercely versatile bill that will keep people on their toes from start to finish. See you soon!!”
