BOTTLEKOPF release first song from new album “The Jokes Are Over”
After eight years of silence Silesian band BOTTLEKOPF is back with new studio album titled “The Jokes Are Over”. This record consist of 12 brand new tracks including intro and outro. Part of this material was recorded with Nihil at Czyściec studio (Furia, Kły, Morowe).
Cover design was done by Artur Masternak (band member), Marek “Puzon” Nowakowski (Snake Eyes “Utarczka”) and Krzysztof Źrałek (Paranoia “Paranoia”)
Mix & mater by Marek “Chłosta” Szefer and Radosław Surówka.
Physical version will out as digipak CD via Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho, pre-order is available through Allegro and mailorder (wydawnictwopsycho@gmail.com).

Ihsahn reworks the Lustmord track ‘Dark Awakening’
Berlin-based independent music label Pelagic Records commemorates the work of electronic music pioneer LUSTMORD by releasing a boxset titled The Others, based around his tenth studio album [ O T H E R ], originally released in 2008 and to date the only LUSTMORD album with guitars on it, performed by Adam Jones (TOOL), King Buzzo (MELVINS) and Aaron Turner (ISIS).

Scorpions Share “Seventh Sun”
In the language of musicians, the term “flageolet” refers to an ingenious technique of eliciting harmonics from a string instrument, producing various overtones in addition to the fundamental frequency of that one string.
From the very first note of “Seventh Sun,” Rudolf Schenker and his Flying V manage to spectacularly draw us into this powerful song in an almost mystical way, much in the tradition of Scorpions classics such as “Animal Magnetism” and “China White.”

LOATHE reveal Sleep Token collaboration version of their track ‘Is It Really You?’
Loathe have revealed a second collaboration version of their track ‘Is It Really You?‘, with enigmatic alt-rockers Sleep Token. This stripped down version with piano accompaniment and moving vocals from Sleep Token‘s Vessel, emphasizes the nostalgic nature of the song-writing. Taken from their 2020 record I Let It In And It Took Everything, ‘Is It Really You?‘ has been identified as one of the pivotal moments in Loathe‘s sonic evolution.

ASGAARD Premiere First Song From ‘What If…’ Album With “Sny na jawie”
“What if…” is the brand new, seventh album in the band’s career and a follow-up to a critically acclaimed “Stairs To Nowhere”. This time around, Asgaard reinvents its formula and the album is the first ever of their releases to feature more rock-oriented sound, rather that straight-up metal one. “What if…” is the very first record in band’s discography with songs composed in more traditional way, full of beautiful melodies and grand, epic choruses. Band enters another novel territory – two out of eight songs on the album are sung in Polish, which language native to the members of the group. Additionally, Asgaard included stylistic features of the broad genre of electronic music in the intricately structured new songs. New album still retains characteristic sense of romance and nostalgia, present in the band’s outputs since the beginning. Such emotional load brings to mind bands like Katatonia, Amorphis, Moonspell, Opeth, Anathema.
“What if…” is a triumphant return of Poland’s rock/metal avant-garde.
