Alice Cooper tops GMM bill on Thursday 20 June 2024!

Shock rock legend to headline North Stage.

Last Monday we announced Tool as the main act on our South Stage on Thursday 20 June 2024. With Alice Cooper we can now confirm our North Stage headliner. Earlier this year the legendary shock rocker from Detroit released his 29^th studio album with ‘Road’.

At our previous edition Alice Cooper and his friends in Hollywood Vampires owned the Graspop stage. In 2024 the shock rocker is dropping by again to introduce his new album ‘Road’ to his Belgian fans. For over half a century, Alice Cooper has been synonymous with theatrical live shows featuring electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, boa constrictors and a ton of hits like ‘School’s Out’, ‘Poison’, ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ and ‘No More Mr. Nice Guy’.

New headliners for Saturday 22 June 2024.

So far our headliner tally for #GMM24 stood at three with Tool, Five Finger Death Punch and Judas Priest. Now we are adding another two titans to the 2024 line-up with Bring Me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold. On Saturday, Bring Me the Horizon will close out proceedings on the South Stage whereas Avenged Sevenfold will do the same on the North Stage.

Following the announcement of our Thursday headliners Tool, it is now time to divulge the names of our two top acts for Friday 21 June! Las Vegas natives Five Finger Death Punch are headlining the South Stage while British heavy metal icons Judas Priest will do the honours on our North Stage.

TOOL RETURN TO EUROPE FOR SPRING TOUR

TOOL make their highly-anticipated return to Europe this Spring, with a month of dates slated for the 2024 trek, including outings at London’s The O₂, Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena and Paris’ Accor Arena, as well as festival outings at Graspop Metal Meeting, Tons of Rock and CopenHell.

News of the band’s European tour follows a particularly busy time for the Los Angeles-based band, with the foursome featuring Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, Adam Jones and Maynard James Keenan, currently in the midst of a North American tour that extends into February. Over the last five months, TOOL has headlined Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as “a mind-melting, triumphant showcase of just how singular their art is, a transcendental experience that surpasses genre boundaries.”
