Rise Against will see Nowhere Generation, its ninth studio album, and first for Loma Vista Recordings, released. In recognition of the album’s release, and Rise Against’s decades-long social justice and political activism that has long informed their music, Mayor Lori Lightfoot has proclaimed June 4 “Rise Against Day in Chicago,” the city where the band originally formed in 1999, and where two of the band members still call home.

Festival Republic have today announced the line-up for the ‘Download Pilot’. The 10,000 capacity, camping only festival will take place on 18-20 June 2021 on the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, as part of the Government’s scientific Events Research Programme. Download Pilot 3-Day Camping Festival Announced in Phase 2 of Government Scientific Event Research Programme
Festival Republic today confirm that a three-day, 10,000 capacity, camping only festival will take place this June as part of the second phase of the Government’s scientific Events Research Programme. In the true spirit of rock, the ‘Download Pilot’ will take place on 18-20 June 2021 on the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, the home of rock and metal since 1980. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 1 June for the longstanding loyal existing Download Festival 2022 ticket holders, before general on sale on Thursday 3 June. The full line-up will be announced Friday 28 May.

AFI SHARES NEW TRACK “TIED TO A TREE”
Today, AFI has shared “Tied To A Tree,” the latest track from their eagerly-awaited new album Bodies (due June 11, 2021 via Rise Records). Hear the new track HERE, and pre-order Bodies HERE.
“This is not only my favourite song on the record, but an exemplification of the evolution of the band,” guitarist Jade Puget says.
Last week, AFI launched a remix contest for their recent single “Dulcería.” The contest can be found within The Bodies Experience interactive 360° website, where fans can download song stems and create their own take on the track. Top submissions will be showcased online and will win exclusive prizes, including a “golden ticket” to future AFI shows. Deadline for entry is Friday, June 4th at 11:59pm PT.
