Norwegian metallers KVELERTAK have immortalized their latest album SPLID in video game form and beyond.
Game of Doom arrives on May 13. It takes fans and singer Ivar Nikolaisen on an epic quest through a retro-style maze where they are tasked with finding the other band members, as well as defeating the ghost of Tagholdt, who haunts a local museum and is a character from the song “Fanden ta dette hull!”
AFI has shared “Dulcería” and “Far Too Near,” two tracks from their eagerly-awaited new album Bodies (due June 11, 2021 via Rise Records). AFI has announced its eagerly-awaited new album Bodies, due 11thJune 2021 via Rise Records. The album is heralded by two new songs — the driving “Looking Tragic” and the fast-paced, hooky “Begging For Trouble” — alongside a video for “Looking Tragic” by longtime AFI collaborator Adam Mason. AFI has shared two eagerly anticipated new songs, “Twisted Tongues” and “Escape From Los Angeles.” These new tracks — the band’s first new music since the acclaimed The Missing ManEP in 2018 — showcase the bold, propulsive style for which AFI has become known. Hard rock band CROWN THE EMPIRE are closing out 2020 by dropping the futuristic and participatory video for the track “Red Pills,” taken from 2019’s Sudden Sky.
The Matrix-inspired, visually frenetic video comes equipped with two endings. At the 2:10 mark, viewers can choose between the alternate endings — either the “Red Pill” or the “Blue Pill” — just like Neo had to in The Matrix.
THE ACACIA STRAIN — Vincent Bennett [vocals], Kevin Boutot [drums], Devin Shidaker [guitar], Griffin Landa [bass], and Tom “The Hammer” Smith, Jr. [guitar] — have shared the video for “One Thousand Painful Stings.” The song, which features Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante, appears on the band’s eighth full-length album Slow Decay, out now through Rise Records.
