TOOL RETURNS TO COPENHELL


TOOL has announced their highly-anticipated return to Europe next summer and will visit COPENHELL on June 22, 2024.

News of the band’s European tour follows a particularly busy time for the Los Angeles- foursome TOOL, currently in the midst of a North American tour that extends into February next year. Over the last five months, TOOL has headlined Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals, as well as a performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as “a mind-melting, triumphant showcase of just how singular their art is, a transcendental experience that surpasses genre boundaries.”

GHOST INCLUDED IN GRAMMY NOMINATIONS FOR BEST METAL PERFORMANCE


GHOST has notched yet another GRAMMY nomination. 

Come February 4, 2024, Sweden’s foremost theatrical rock export will go up against the likes of Metallica, Slipknot, Disturbed and Spiritbox for Best Metal Performance at the 66th GRAMMY Awards. The nomination for the band’s faithful rendition of Iron Maiden’s “Phantom of the Opera” from its chart-topping PHANTOMIME covers EP, released in May 2023 via Loma Vista Recordings, is GHOST’s fifth overall—including a Best Metal Performance win for “Cirice” at the 58th GRAMMY Awards in 2016.

Bleed From Within have had an extraordinary year. They’ve just stepped off of the Lamb Of God Headbangers Boat cruise, following on from a colossal summer run which took in both headline shows, performances with Heaven Shall Burn and festival appearances at the likes of Brutal Assault (Czech Republic), Summer Breeze (Germany) and Alcatraz (Belgium), finishing up with a 13-date tour supporting Trivium across the UK. This was all on top of a hugely successful debut American tour earlier this year with August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada

Avenged Sevenfold Announce Main Stage Headline Slot At Download Festival in June 2024


Avenged Sevenfold has announced a headline slot on the main stage at Download Festival 2024 which runs from June 14th – 16th. The band has previously headlined the festival in 2014 and 2018.

Guitarist Synyster Gates said “We are super excited to be playing Download for the third time. We are gearing up to deliver an unforgettable performance and look forward to everyone joining us for what promises to be an exhilarating event.”

Psychedelic prog-metallers Enslaved are proud to announce a new UK and European headline tour for Spring 2024. This news comes a few days after their final live show of the year at Damnation Festival, following on from a hectic festival season with performances at the likes of Midgardsblot, ArcTanGent, Brutal AssaultBeyond The Gates and Desertfest Antwerp, on-top of a co-headline tour across the USA and Canada earlier this year with Insomnium.

LORD OF THE LOST Announces Covers Album, “Weapons Of Mass Seduction”, out December 29


Exactly one year after the release of their game changing #1 charting album, Blood & Glitter (Official German Album Charts), LORD OF THE LOST are back with their first ever covers album, Weapons Of Mass Seduction, set to be released on December 29, 2023 via Napalm Records.

Weapons Of Mass Seduction features plenty of genre-crossing tracks and wraps up the busiest and most successful year in the band’s history so far. In addition to storming the charts with their latest studio album, being invited by the legendary Iron Maiden as special guest on their European tour (again!), numerous sold-out headline shows, and opening gigs for Powerwolf and Amon Amarth, the band represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest Finals in Liverpool in May of this year. LORD OF THE LOST made it clear once again that they do not limit themselves when it comes to genre norms and influences.
