BLOODSTOCK announce New Blood bands & M2TM finals kick off


The Metal 2 The Masses tour returns in 2024! BLOODSTOCK’s initiative to give emerging bands a step up and also support grassroots venues, kicks off on 10th May, with 30 regions and 6 countries participating. The fun begins in Belfast and rolls down through Dublin and back to England, Scotland, and Wales, taking in Norway and Poland along the way. The tour wraps up in Coventry on 15th July, with all the regional winners from the finals being revealed in due course. Check out the local events below and get along to your nearest event to support the headliners of tomorrow!

COPENHELL 2024 FESTIVAL POSTER RELEASED


COPENHELL are happy to finally present to you the the 2024 festival poster – filled to the brim with great bands that we can’t wait to experience live this summer!

Keen observers will notice that Twin Temple has been removed from the COPENHELL 2024 line-up – this is due to the band unfortunately cancelling their Nordic summer tour.

Eight more acts added to DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL XXI


Liquid Death presents Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today announced eight more artists for this year’s festival, further bolstering a stellar 2024 line-up. The new additions include Kerry King, Creeper, Bayside, Bambie Thug, Soft Play, Lowlives, Florence Black and Kerrang! Radio competition winners Mallavora. This year’s festival will take place on 14-16 June 2024 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Tickets are available now at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.

COPENHELL METAL CRUISE 2024 TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW


The ship is loaded with heavy music and loads of atmosphere when COPENHELL Metal Cruise takes off on October 25-27 later this year! In a partnership with DFDS, COPENHELL will host the seventh Metal Cruise on board the ‘Oslo Boat’ in 2024, and the first bands are now ready for the dark voyage: GLORYHAMMER, BAEST, PALLBEARER and MERCENARY!
 
Cruise guests can look forward to the same luxurious experience as last year with two days at sea full of exciting concerts, delicious food, excellent entertainment and not least lots of great COPENHELL atmosphere all day and night long on board the ship. As usual, we have taken over the entire ship so we have only true rock and metal fans on board, and we look forward to telling you much more about COPENHELL Metal Cruise 2024 and all the activities at this year’s event in the coming months.

COPENHELL COMPLETES THIS YEAR’S MUSIC LINE-UP


In a Danish music context, COPENHELL presents a completely unique and historical concert this year when the legends from SORT SOL visit the festival on Saturday evening. Sparks will fly in the summer night when Danish punk rock’s grand old men go on stage with a more than 40 year long and versatile career behind them. 
 
SORT SOL has been an important pillar of the Danish rock scene ever since the early days in the punk band Sods in the late ’70s, up through the ’80s towards their great mainstream breakthrough with the hit album ‘Glamourpuss’ in 1992 – and further on towards 2001’s ‘Snakecharmer’ and the following long hiatus before the band returned to form with their most recent album, ‘Stor langsom stjerne’ in 2017.
