UNLEASH THE ARCHERS Release Music Video For Track “The Matriarch”!

The definition of matriarch says: “A woman who rules or dominates a family, group, or state; specifically: a mother who is head and ruler of her family and descendants.”

“The Matriarch” is also the brand new track and music video off of UNLEASH THE ARCHERS’ upcoming album Apex. The album marks the tenth anniversary of UNLEASH THE ARCHERS! These heavy metal heroes are celebrating this honor with an exhilarating feast on their fourth masterpiece – out on June 2nd via Napalm Records!

Brittney Slayes states:
“This track is chapter three in the story, and in it we are introduced to our antagonist “The Matriarch” in all her malevolent glory. We call this one our “quick banger” because it’s fast, catchy, and fun, and hopefully it won’t take long to learn the words! It is sung from an omniscient point of view, drawing the listener in with tales of The Matriarch’s depravity. The best part is the bridge, because the song is so dark, and then it launches into this flowing wraithlike guitar melody that is so memorable, I sing along to it every time and I think the fans will too! Absolutely can not wait to play this one live ;)„

The band states:
“Kingslayer is a song about Jaime Lannister’s betrayal of his oath, which earned him that very nickname across the Seven Kingdoms. The Mad King was ready to blow up all of Kings Landing with stocks of wildfire hidden under the streets, rather than face defeat to Robert’s rebellion. Having already seen enough atrocities committed by the king, Jaime could not stand by any longer with the lives of the entire city at stake. He murdered the Mad King, the one his life was sworn to protect. Instead of becoming a hero, this betrayal would be how history remembered Jaime Lannister.”

The female fronted progressive power metal band VANDROYA will release their new album “Beyond The Human Mind” on April 28th through Inner Wound Recordings. “The Path To The Endless Fall”, the second single from the album is available for streaming at YouTube at the link below.

With a more evident progressive influence but without giving up the weight and virtuosity of power metal, the new album brings a more mature band, a more balanced sound and reflects the musicians technical and artistic evolution since the debut album “One”.

LESBIAN BED DEATH release new single, ‘SON OF A THOUSAND MANIACS’ with Nightmare On Elm Street inspired music video and announce UK Tour Dates!

UK female fronted Hard Rock/Gothic Punk act Lesbian Bed Death have just unleashed their third single ‘Son Of A Thousand Maniacs’ taken from their latest album, ‘Evil Never Dies’.

The new song and video is inspired by the popular horror movie, Nightmare On Elm Street. The frontwoman Sienna Venom explains: “I grew up watching all of the classic 80s horror movies, and the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise was one of my favourites. We’ve always wanted to pay homage to Freddy Krueger in a future music video, and now we’ve finally made it happen with this track”.

To fit the tone of the song and video, it was filmed at the famous haunted 18th century pub, The Leopard Inn, in Stoke-on-Trent. The music video sees Sienna Venom take of the role of Freddy Krueger as she torments a teenage girl in her nightmares.

This one is really going to get you banging your head! With chest-thumping bass lines and penetrating guitar melodies, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS newest release compels you to chant with fists raised high in the air “All hail heavy metal!”

Powerful front woman Brittney Slayes states:
“We are beyond stoked to finally debut a track from the new album, and this song was unanimously chosen as the first single by the whole band, no question. It’s a heavy song so we wanted a heavy video, and we think that Richard (Olak, director) did an incredible job of capturing the essence of the album perfectly. It was a brutal two days of filming in zero degree weather, but it was worth it, and we think it turned out well. We filmed with a 6K RED Weapon, one of the best cameras out there right now, and the cinematic quality adds to the dark nature of the lyrical content. We think our fans are really going to like this one!”
