The Spanish band DETHLIRIUM presents the lyric of the song “Abuse Of Power” featuring Ödemark of the norwegian The Third Attempt.
“Abuse Of Power” is taken from the  EP entitled “Asymmetrical Disorder” to be released this week thru Brutal Arratia Records.

“Asymmetrical Disorder” was recorded at Chromaticity Studios (Vhäldemar, In Thousand Lakes).

AZARATH premiere new track via Ultimate-Guitar.com

Polish death/black metal tyrants AZARATH have teamed up with Ultimate-Guitar.com to premiere a new song from their forthcoming album “In Extremis”, which is set to be released on April 7th via Agonia Records. Listen to new the track exclusively at this link:

Earlier the band premiered the songs  “At The Gates Of Understanding” (available as lyric video here:  https://youtu.be/PkOqzLUXPAU) as well as “Annihilation (Smite All the Illusions)” (listen at: https://youtu.be/wzdG4XgsWwI).

outed as a “demonic mutation of Krisiun and Behemoth with shades of Immolation”, AZARATH stand up to their wicked name. The band’s death metal is crisp, black, and while it possesses the charm of their American counterparts, it remains open-minded and organic. This should not come as a surprise, considering the AZARATH‘s impressive line-up and cemented position as one the the best Polish acts of the genre. The band was formed in 1998 by drummer Inferno (of  Behemoth fame). He’s accompanied by Bart (Armagedon, Damnation) on guitars, Necrosodom (Anima Damnata, Deus Mortem, ex-Infernal War) on vocals and guitars, as well as Peter (ex-Lost Soul) on bass.

Meaning “at the point of death” or “under extreme circumstances” in Latin, “In Extremis” is yet another apex reached by AZARATH. Offering a vehement ride through the netherworlds, the effort places the band back at the fore of the genre, with strong ties to the group’s early cult albums. The eerie painting that adorns the album’s cover was made by Marta Promińska (Hypnagogic Painting).

Recorded in various locations between March and November 2016, “In Extremis” was mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg at Satanic Audio. Graphic design and layout were done by Mentalporn (Behemoth, Origin, Decapitated) with calligraphy provided by Ihasan Art and additional work by Holy Poison Design.

NORTHLANE UNVEIL NEW VIDEO FOR ‘CITIZEN’

Northlane have today released their new single ‘Citizen’, which was recorded by David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, Paramore) at his studio in New Jersey. The video for ‘Citizen’ was filmed by Jason Eshragian. The track premiered as a world exclusive on the Radio 1 Rock show and the video is now live.

“Citizen is a song that was written about the first world police state and our willingness to live under the watch of those in power, for their means, while those who blow the lid on it suffer,” explains Northlane guitarist Josh Smith. “Writing this one was quite a mission – it took a lot of work but we are proud of it and beyond excited to share it with you all.”

The track was initially teased via a Chatbot on Facebook identifying itself as Citizen 10 days ago. The bot then led users down various paths while enquiring whether or not they were the elusive Mr Snow while delivering exclusive content depending on their responses; to date, the bot has been interacted with by thousands of people all over the world.

‘Citizen’ follows on from previous track ‘Intuition’ which was revealed as a surprise gift for fans during their headline set at UNIFY 2017. Northlane will continue to hit festival stages throughout 2017 with appearances on the main stage at Download Festival (UK) and Hellfest (France). The band will also appear at Vainstream Rockfest (Germany), Jera On Air (Netherlands), Graspop (Belgium), Dissonance Festival (Italy), Rock For The People (Czech Republic), Resurrection (Spain) Hammersonic (Indonesia) as well as Big Pineapple Music Festival in Australia.

Riksha Release Official Video For “Five Stages of Numb”

Heavy Nu Metal Band RIKSHA has released the Official Music Video for the title track of their upcoming album, Five Stages Of Numb. The band has also inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records, the new record label from Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter, Ex-The Browning). The band’s latest album, Five Stages Of Numb, was recorded at Elevate Studios by notable producer and drummer for Chelsea Grin, Pablo Viveros. Album art was provided by Die Elster. Five Stages Of Numb will be available May 12, 2017, but can be pre-ordered NOW.

 

Riksha’s sound is affectionately known as “throg”, a mixture of “thrash” and “progressive”. The band can best be compared to groove metal and nu metal bands such as Mudvayne, Tool, Pantera, Coal Chamber, Soulfly, Nothingface, and American Head Charge.

Riksha frontman Palmer states, “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Zombie Shark Records and the great bands they represent.”
