Legendary Belgian Black Metal group Enthroned premiering the first track off from the new album ‘Cold Black Suns.’ The track is called “Silent Redemption”.
The release date for the album is June 7, worldwide via Season Of Mist.
Statement from the band:
“We’re proud to introduce our first single “Silent Redemption” from the upcoming album “Cold Black Suns”. This track unveils one of the many layers of the long awaited 11th opus. With “Silent Redemption” Enthroned takes you along to Aokigahara, the infamous Suicide Forest in Japan, to walk amongst the Yūrei. While keeping our band’s trademark, this new album offers another pitch in the music, soaking the listener in bleak and fury.”
Inklings is the new musical venture of Kier Kemp following his departure from the popular alt-rock band Fearless Vampire Killers.
The new single ‘Ambush’ bravely confronts about someone in an abusive relationship that he knew and features honest lyrics with lines like “I’ve had enough. I’m getting out. Cause it’s getting kind of rough”. It is delivered in an ambient manner with heavy vibrant synths and pleasant varied vocals. Although the nature of the lyrics is harsh and bleak the song itself is largely upbeat but still highlights the point powerfully and in a memorable burst of melodies. This is some exciting indie rock that you need to hear.

Last year, Vermilia, who released her debut album “Kätkyt”, earned much praise from the media and sparked debate in various forums.
Now, Vermilia has produced another slightly more surprising release: a cover version of “Täällä pohjantähden alla”, originally composed by Petri Laaksonen and written by Turkka Mali. Vermilia’s interpretation of “Täällä pohjantähden alla” has transformed the song in a profound way which could lead one to believe the original work to be a majestic Black Metal composition in its own right.
Mark Morton, the prolific guitarist of Lamb of God, has released the song “Save Defiance.” The track features Slash and Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy, with Alice in Chains’ Mike Inez on bass and Korn’s Ray Luzier on drums.
“Myles was our first and only choice for ‘Save Defiance’,” Morton says. “He’s such a tremendous talent and a remarkably down-to-earth and humble dude. Even before the instrumental pre-production demo was finished, we knew we were going to ask Myles to sing on it. We felt like it was a perfect fit for his voice. He dug the track and made it his own. I’m grateful to have had the chance to work with him.”
