The movie was put together by Toronto-based film-making collective, The Art of Heavy Metal and tells the story of how Paul found an outlet for his imagination in painting and fine art, through to how he decided to start a festival, pushing forward a crazy idea that everyone said would fail. This fascinating tale tells an inspiring story of birthing grand ideas, taking risks and ultimately fulfilling your dreams.

BLOODSTOCK ANNOUNCES 14 BANDS FOR 2024!
With BLOODSTOCK 2023 well under way, the festival is thrilled to already be looking forward to next year and announcing 14 bands for the 2024 event. BLOODSTOCK 2024 is set to take place on 8th-11th August 2024 at Catton Park, Derbyshire.
AMON AMARTH are set to headline Sunday night’s Ronnie James Dio main stage in a 2024 UK exclusive show. AMON AMARTH’s chief marauder Johann Hegg proclaims, “England! We are excited to be returning to the Bloodstock hallowed grounds to do battle with you and the Saxon hordes! We look forward to fighting and feasting with you! BLOODSTOCK REVEAL ‘METAL 2 THE MASSES’ FINALS DATES & FIRST BANDS FOR 2023’s NEW BLOOD STAGE
As Spring settles in, BLOODSTOCK HQ is a hive of activity. This week’s announcement sees the first bands announced for the New Blood stage, and the dates are set for the Finals of 2023’s METAL 2 THE MASSES programme, BLOODSTOCK’s celebrated initiative to help developing bands score a landmark opportunity, playing a slot on the New Blood stage at the festival in August. Some winners are chosen from online submissions, whereas others battle it out among their peers at local events across the country. This year, 29 different regions have stepped up and we also welcome initiatives from Croatia and Poland to the programme.
