VILLE VALO OF HIM WILL RELEASE NEW SINGLE “LOVELETTING” + REVEALS ALBUM DETAILS & HEADLINE TOUR 2023

Finnish Love Metal pioneer, Ville Valo, will release new single, “Loveletting”, on April 8^th under the VV banner. “Loveletting” is taken from VV’s forthcoming debut album, Neon Noir.

Ville explains, “As fun as the funeral rites for HIM were, it took me more than a few moons to lick my wounds in the shadow of the Heartagram and come up with an excuse to strum and hum again. Eventually I decided to put a leash on my beloved black dog and we started howling together instead of barking at each other. That’s how Loveletting was born”.

The Ocean release cover of Lustmord’s ‘Primal [State of Being]’

Ahead of the release of ‘The Others – Lustmord Deconstructed’, a compilation album of Lustmord tracks reinterpreted by some of the spearheads of the contemporary heavy music scene and beyond, post-metal outfit The Ocean have released their version of Lustmord’s ‘Primal [State of Being]’. Guitarist Robin Staps comments,

“While getting to know Brian (Lustmord) through the ‘Alter’ release with Karin Park, we started fantasising about a Lustmord boxset, and for a few weeks I dove deep into his immense back catalogue. His timeless, primordial soundscapes have always resonated deeply with me.

ARCHITECTS release ‘For Those That Wish To Exist At Abbey Road’ today

ARCHITECTS’ live album “For Those That Wish To Exist at Abbey Road” is out today.
The album was recorded at London’s iconic Abbey Road studios, during a global streaming event on December 11^th last year and features a reimagined orchestral version of their critically acclaimed, UK number 1 album “For Those That Wish To Exist”.

The band’s performance is backed by Parallax Orchestra, made up of some of UK’s best and most versatile classical musicians, arranged and written by the award-winning composer and Parallax Orchestra’s conductor Simon Dobson.

APOCALYPTICA PARTNER UP WITH GEEZER BUTLER OF BLACK SABBATH FOR NEW SINGLE“I’LL GET THROUGH IT”

The Finnish cello-rock quartet Apocalyptica have once again partnered up with some of the biggest names in rock music to deliver their new single “I’ll Get Through It”. The song, written for the band by American award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, features Franky Perez – guest vocalist in Apocalyptica’s 2015 record Shadowmaker – as well as Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath on bass guitar.
