SLAYER announce return to the UK with European exclusive shows

AFTER A 40-YEAR ABSENCE DAN LILKER TO JOIN ANTHRAX FOR UPCOMING U.S. & SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES


Today, Anthrax announces that, due to personal reasons, bassist Frank Bello will not be able to accompany the band on its upcoming South American tour, set to kick off April 13 at MXMF the Metal Fest. Filling in on those dates, as well as two U.S. festival shows in May, will be Anthrax founding member and original bassist Dan Lilker, marking his first appearance with the band in 40 years. Lilker, who co-wrote and played on Anthrax’s debut album Fistful of Metal, was also a member of Stormtroopers of Death with Charlie Benante and Scott Ian

BROKEN HOPE guitarist and award winning author, JEREMY WAGNER has always been a horror-kid. His passion for horror novels and horror movies is well-known—as is his passion for horror movie memorabilia. Earning himself a reputation as a serious collector, Wagner has curated an impressive collection spanning decades of horror cinema including one of a kind posters, screen-used artifacts and more from legendary films. His top 2 favorite horror movies are John Carpenter’s “The Thing” and Steven Spielberg’s “JAWS.” Wagner has both a dedicated “Thing museum” and a “JAWS museum” in his Chicago home. However, it’s in the realm of his Jaws museum where Wagner has kicked his love for the classic film up to an epic level. The world’s largest and greatest JAWS fan pages, THE DAILY JAWS has connected with Wagner to unveil his latest collectible – a life size sculpture of Quint in the infamous “Town Hall meeting” scene of JAWS created by legendary Hollywood sculptor, FX and makeup artist Nick Marra.

BLOODSTOCK REVEAL TRIPTYKON PERFORMING CELTIC FROST AS ANTHRAX CANCEL


Following on from the bonanza 15-band announcement earlier this week, BLOODSTOCK has some more news to share about 2023’s event. 

In these rapidly changing times, unfortunately Saturday’s special guest Anthrax have pulled out of their slot. With regret, the band have issued a brief statement saying, “Due to logistical issues beyond our control Anthrax will no longer be appearing at Bloodstock 2023.”

BLOODSTOCK shares nine more bands for 2023!


As we head into Halloween territory, BLOODSTOCK has dropped an absolute face slasher of a band announcement!  Here’s the latest on what’s coming to Catton Park in 2023!

Swedish metal luminaries IN FLAMES land themselves Friday’s special guest slot on the Ronnie James Dio main stage. Last month, the band dropped a music video for new track, ‘Foregone Pt. 1’, taken from their forthcoming album, ‘Foregone’ which is set for release in Feb 2023. Perhaps BLOODSTOCKers will get to hear some new tunes live!
