Prolific German blackened death metal / HC outfit ANCST has just announced a new ambient album called “Desolation” that sees the project further explore the reaches of dark ambient, film music and industrial. ANCST also announced the release of “Anomaly 2.0” which compiles all their previous out-of-print ambient material on a staggering 3xCD compilation.
With 10 years under its belt, the project also celebrates its birthday with the re-issue of its first demo on a super limited 8” square lathe cut.

ANCST announces signing with Lifeforce Records and reveals new line up
German Blackened Crust Heavyweights ANCST have announced their signing to Lifeforce Records, a new band addition and plans for a new studio album in 2018.
“We are proud to announce that we will be joining forces with Lifeforce Records for our upcoming album in 2018. Growing up with German metallic hardcore and proto-metalcore, Lifeforce has a special place in our hearts and we are honored to be part of the label family alongside bands such as King Apathy, dutch grinders Teethgrinder or bigger names such as Heaven Shall Burn, Between The Buried And Me.
Also, we are happy to reveal the addition of a new band member, Mihai, who will join the band as the first drummer. Mihai delivers some punishing blast beats and most importantly he is a human. For the last 3 years we have been touring with our beloved Roland (404), a sampler that hosted our drum tracks. It was a great ride and it left many of you with great confusion but it always felt strange performing on stage. It’s great to finally be able to hear a human drummer blast his way through these tracks and to play alongside him. Catch the new line up on tour in september. We are all looking forward to this.”

ANCST new video out and new split LP announcement
ANCST, the powerful crust black metallers from Berlin, Germany, have released a new official video for the song “Broken Oath” taken from their last album called “Furnance” which was released on the 19th of February 2017 on CD/Vinyl by Vendetta Records and Yehonala Tapes. The video is a collection of events and live performances from the tour promoting the “Furnance” album, tour that took place at the begining of this year.
Also, ANCST announced the release of a new split LP with their long time friends KING APATHY, formerly known as THRÄNENKIND:
“We are proud to announce our upcoming split LP with KING APATHY through Supreme Chaos Records & Alerta Antifascista Records.
A lot of you have seen us touring together when they were still known as THRÄNENKIND and during that time we came up with the idea of a split release where each band would be covering the other.
Well, after some time, we really pulled it off and it’s nearly ready and done. The split is available for pre-order through both labels and can be ordered here:
