A few weeks ago, high-profile modern metal band CROWNSHIFT announced the release date and details of their eagerly awaited self-titled debut album, which is due out on May 10th, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Today, the band that’s currently one of Finland’s hottest new music exports, are proud to unleash a new single called ‘My Prison‘, which showcases a more atmospheric side of CROWNSHIFT richly adorned with divine guitar leads and – yet again – an absolute ear worm of a chorus!

In addition to the single, the band announces the anticipated second leg of their North American tour.
Instantly grabbing attention with a guttural scream by frontman Sam Carter, ‘Curse’ is rife with blast beats, massive guitar riffs, and Carter’s impressive vocal range as he switches between aggressive verses and a melodic chorus. Bleed From Within have had an extraordinary couple of years. In April they’ll be hitting the road for a month-long USA and Canada tour with The Ghost Inside, Paleface and Great American Ghost, and are also looking ahead to a string of summer festival appearances including their Hellfest debut, Download Festival and Graspop, plus a couple of German shows with Shadow Of Intent, The Acacia Strain and Fuming Mouth. Not to mention that they’ll be capping off this year in the finest way by playing as special guests to Slipknot across the UK and Europe, for Slipknot‘s ‘Here Comes The Pain‘ tour celebrating the Iowan’s 25th anniversary.
Dream Theater turns 40 and is heading for a big tour to celebrate the anniversary, the European days of which will be published today. The An Evening With Dream Theater 40th Anniversary Tour also arrives in Finland, where the band will be seen at Espoo’s Metro Areena on November 6.
The tour starting in October is meaningful for the band in many ways, and a special reason for joy is Dream Theater traveling again in the lineup from 14 years ago, with drummer Mike Portnoy returning to the band’s ranks alongside James LaBrie, John Myung, John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess. Portnoy and the rest of the band parted ways after the Black Clouds & Silver Linings album released in 2009, so today’s tour news has been long awaited.
Today, Finnish folk metal superstars KORPIKLAANI, the cultural ambassadors for Finland, are celebrating the release of their new studio album, Rankarumpu. This marks the 12th full-length entry in their impressive discography. Alongside, a video for the album’s title track has been unveiled today and can be watched below!
