To help celebrate the 10th year (THE TENTH YEAR!) of the mighty ArcTanGent Festival in 2024, todays band announcement is very likely it’s biggest ever band announcement in its history. Yes, it is a biggie, and yes it will make you all very happy.
Announced for this years event are the world renowned, globally acclaimed Scottish post rock band Mogwai, who play the festival for the very first time. An incredibly special band with one of the richest, most varied, interesting and loved back catalogues of music, ArcTanGent Festival is thrilled to have them grace our stages this summer. They are a band that the team at ATG has been trying to book since it began, back in 2013.

Performing at the Holy Ground in 2024 will be Metal institution Accept, the Norwegian steamhammer Bokassa, L.A. rock god Don Dokken and his band, the Dutch firestarters Dear Mother and Alligatoah, who will show us how much Rap can be in Metal and vice versa.

Hellsinki Metal Festival will take place on August 9th & 10th in Helsinki
Hellsinki Metal Festival, organized for the first time this year, found its own place on the Finnish festival grounds on the second weekend of August in 2023. More than 11,000 visitors were able to enjoy a bold and versatile lineup of performers, which also included several bands that rarely visit Finland. W:O:A Unveil 10 more bands as part of Advent Calendar Event
Advent Advent – and the first candle burns! What this means for the Wacken Metalhead is pretty clear: W:O:A has revealed its first December-Sunday band announcements! To go in with a bang, we present to you two heavyweight champions.
Both Testament and Armored Saint will be joining us back on the field and everyone can probably agree that both bands were able to absolutely smash their Holy Ground gigs every time.

Limp Bizkit added to Download 2024 Line-Up
Liquid Death presents Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today revealed nu metal legends Limp Bizkit as the latest addition to next year’s jam-packed line-up. The band join the recently announced headliners Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold, as well as over 80 more names from the rock world. This year’s festival will take place on 14-16 June 2024 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Tickets are available now at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
