August 11–12 All the performers of the Hellsinki Metal Festival organized at Nordis have now been announced, and Friday’s main performer was Helloween, one of the legends of power metal. The band, founded in 1982 in Hamburg, has steadily forged its career forward despite crew changes. As proof of this, the gentlemen have already accumulated 14 gold and 6 platinum records. The band was also named to the Metal Hall Of Fame this year.
Helloween will finally get on board to offer their Finnish fans what their fans have been waiting for. The German power metal regiment was last seen in Finland in 2018.
Another announcement for Friday’s line-up is the British prog metal band Monuments, who released their fourth studio album In Stasis last year. The band, which also played sold-out shows with Leprous in Finland last winter, will surely fulfill the expectations of music diggers.
