Finnish sextet NIGHTWISH recently released their ninth studio album HUMAN. :II: NATURE. – it conquered the charts worldwide, including landing a #1 in their home country of Finland as well as Germany, and #2 in Canada, Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. Today, the band announce that they’ve had to postpone their European tour that was originally scheduled for November and December 2020, until May 2021.

On September 25th, The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band’s own Pelagic Records (vinyl). In 2018, The Ocean released Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic – the first half of a sprawling but superbly cohesive paleontology concept album. Now, the group is ready to release the eagerly-awaited concluding parts of the Phanerozoic journey.

These are uncertain times, to say the least, yet everyone is doing everything they can to get Mayhem back on the road. The 2020 tour is hereby moved to February/March of 2021, and we sincerely hope that this will be sufficient. Time will tell!“
