Conquer Divide Reveal Stunning Video For “N E W H E A V E N”
“N E W H E A V E N was born out of the idea that you’ll never be satisfied with what you have if you don’t define your expectations,” the band offers. “We got together in Atlanta with Johnny Andrews for this one, and he’s a musical mad scientist. We played with religious metaphors, although the song is not about religion. You throw your whole life into something, and then you finally reach the pinnacle and get to pull the proverbial curtain back, but it’s not what you expected at all. So now you need a new high to chase. We did crowd-sourced gang vocals on this one, and it was fun to make that come together.”
As for the accompanying video, the band shares, “This video was sort of a continuation from last music video where in the opening scene you see the Grim Reaper take his hood off to reveal he is now the priest overseeing the funeral. Kia figuratively ‘went to heaven’ and came back after realizing heaven wasn’t what it was cracked up to be.”

Sydney melodic metalcore outfit Polaris return today armed with a ferocious new single and video Nightmare.
Nightmare is taken from the group’s impending new album Fatalism, due out on September 1 via Resist Records in Australia and SharpTone Records for the rest of the world.
Featuring an equally ominous music video capturing the track’s dystopian themes, Nightmare also pays tribute to the recent devastating loss in the Polaris family, as drummer and lyricist Daniel Furnari explains: “We created this video with our friend Ben Wrigley, AKA Third Eye Visuals, who found some amazing locations and imagery to help us convey the track when paired with his brilliant editing skills. This was the second of three music videos we filmed with Ryan earlier this year. It has been a challenging and very emotional task to complete these videos in light of what has happened, but after careful discussion with his family we collectively felt that we wanted to share with the world the final things that Ryan created with us. We will proudly cherish the memories of him contained in this footage, and hope you will too.”

Empire State Bastard descend further into darkness as they unleash the new track “The Looming.” Available today on all streaming platforms, it follows the band’s recent singles “Harvest” and “Stutter” as they power towards the September 1st release of their eagerly anticipated debut album Rivers of Heresy.
“The Looming” is an oppressive slow crush in which Mike Vennart’s grinding, maximum fuzz stoner rock riffs take on a hypnotic intensity as Simon Neil layers feral vocals with guttural death metal growls. It’s the final song on Rivers of Heresy as well as the band’s regular set closer for good reason.
