Download Festival’s 20th anniversary has become a double celebration, as today the festival sells out, marking 2023 as the fastest-selling year of all time. Day, weekend and camping tickets have been snapped up by fans eager to celebrate an incredible 20 years for the legendary festival. The special anniversary edition, taking place for the first time over four days on 8-11 June 2023 at Donington Park, will feature headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica, who will perform two headline sets with no repeat songs.

Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon, and Slipknot headline a great year for the UK’s biggest rock festival, and Metallica will perform two headline sets with no repeat songs. As expected, their 20th-anniversary celebration boasts a mega line-up for a record-breaking year for the festival, as 2023’s event is the fastest-selling Download ever. METALLICA ASL VIDEOS NOW LIVE FOR 72 SEASONS
On April 15, Metallica marked National ASL Day with the announcement of a partnership with the Deaf Professional Arts Network (DPAN) and Amber G Productions teams to release every music video for every song from the band’s new 72 Seasons album in American Sign Language. The news was accompanied by the first of these ASL videos, for the title track, “72 Seasons.”

Metallica has unveiled the title track of its forthcoming 12th studio album, 72 Seasons. A seven-and-a-half-minute opus that opens the new record, “72 Seasons” is the fourth advance offering from its namesake—following the recent release of the “epic” (Rolling Stone) “If Darkness Had A Son,” hailed by Consequence as “a sonic retrospective of (Metallica’s) career,” as well as the “scorching” (Guitar World) “Screaming Suicide” and “thundering, breakneck” (Billboard) first single “Lux Æterna.”
