Tracklist:
1. Hermit Dungeons
2. Beneath The Reaper Shadow
3. Shore Of Ancient Moons
4. Carved In Scars…
Line-up:
Dmitriy K. – music, all instruments
Gjenfard – vocals
Vintrald – lyrics
Kladovest is a Slavic Neopagan concept signifying the “well of knowledge” that can be compared to the Akashic records in theosophy and related esoteric schools.
From the first note it lugs away into the deeps of melancholic canvas.

Imagination immediately creates the branches of the trees that have their leaves long lost. Dirty guitars vary with atmospheric clean ones, and sharp and fast riffs – changed by slow and stringy like a spider web, ones.

As “Shore of Ancient Moons” clean guitar parts are beaded on a lackluster thread of main black-metal riff. Embittered, collapsing on the verge vocal, gives the impression that the voice, reaching the edge, falls into the deep and disappears from the musical cloth. But it throws and shouts words till the end.

There is nothing original or new that Kladovest came up with, but together it turned out to be magical in its own desperation.

Score: 5/5 definitely.

”Ignitiate” is available via No Colors Records.

REVIEW: Teleport – Ascendance

REVIEW: Teleport – Ascendance

Review by Ekaterina  / Dark Art Conspiracy

Tracklist:
1. Nihility
2. The Monolith
3. Artificial divination
4. Realm of solar darkness
5. Path to omniscience
Lineup:
Jan Medved (vocals, guitars)
Lovro Babič (bass)
Matija “Dole” Dolinar (guitars)
Darian Kocmur (drums)

The beginnings of the band date back to 2010 when three fans of sci-fi thrash metal were brought together and they started playing together. Soon they recorded their first demo, which was never released and after that in January 2011, there has been a change in the lineup of the band. Later that year they released a demo entitled “Galactic usurper”. In November 2013, the quartet released their second demo “Stellar damnation”. New Ep titled “Ascendance” was released in late 2016.
First, what catches an attention, it’s a description in preview – “Genre: Sci Fi Death/ Black Metal, Lyrics: Sci-fi, Space conquest”. Sounds intriguingly. Not a lot of bands who’s digging these themes deeply come to mind. Alien “Nihility” is an opening for the next four songs and prepare us for space conquests. But, on this “sci-fi” atmosphere unfortunately ends. Next tracks go smoothly after each other, material is quite easy to listen without heaped and extremely difficult elements, though it’s not primitive. Solos are in place and in harmony with rhythm, with inclusions of clean guitar sound, which gives more atmosphere to music canvas, like in the “Path to omniscience”, for instance. Vocal descends from the high-pitch screams to growl that cannot fail to please. Well, in the “Ascendance” feels band’s diligent work and EP may antedate a good album. Made on the same level, at least. EP “Ascendance” is self-released and available via band’s Bandcamp profile.

Score: 4,5/5

SANCTUARY: LAUNCH “DREAM OF THE INCUBUS” Lyric Video.

SANCTUARY: LAUNCH “DREAM OF THE INCUBUS” LYRIC VIDEO”

Century Media Records and legendary US metal act SANCTUARY have teamed up to release “Inception”, a collection of presumed lost 1986 studio recordings, on February 24, 2017.

Magically restored, remixed and remastered by Zeuss (Queensrÿche, Hatebreed), SANCTUARY now presents another track taken from this release, the previously unreleased “Dream Of The Incubus”!

Guitarist Lenny Rutledge comments:
“‘Dream Of The Incubus’ was one of those forgotten SANCTUARY songs. It’s awesome to see it finally get released. I believe we only played ‘Incubus’ live one time. This video footage was from our first Seattle show in the late 80s at a venue called The OZ. The introduction at the beginning is Jeff Gilbert from the radio show “Brain Pain”. Jeff was a huge help to SANCTUARY and many other Seattle bands from that time frame.”

Watch the lyric video for “Dream Of The Incubus (Demo 1986)” and enjoy some glorious, wild and raw 80’s nostalgia:

Modern Age Dying Streams “The Age Of Regression”

Modern Age Dying: Stream “The Age Of Regression”

Modern Age Dying represents a voiceful dissagreement with the steps humanity is taking blindly towards it’s own damnation. The lyrics in ‘Age Of Regression‘ speak of the will to break free from the chains of lies which the corrupt elite feeds their slaves, the people of the world, and encouraging them to rise and use their yet unrealized power, just like it occured repeatedly in mankind’s history.

The band comments: We are blessed and grateful for being able to play the music that we like and speak to people live in these times hardened for underground scene”

History:
This band formed after a Slovakian Experimental Death Metal outfit ‘Apothecy‘ ceased to exist due to departure of it’s founding and leading frontman. The remaining members however still wish to pursue music, and so they reincarnated with new guitarist and bassist and formed ‘Modern Age Dying’.

The young formation started putting their first material together in spring of 2016 on which they began to get to know each other’s vastly different musical tastes and styles as is significant on their first single demo release ‘Age Of Regression‘ .

Modern Age Dying is currently finishing their material to build their debut album, planning to release more demos prior, one song at a time to keep the fire alive. They will also endeavour to play live for their growing fanbase as much as they can, in as many towns, cities and countries as possible.

So metalheads, enjoy the music, visit their networks, and stay tuned, there’s sure more to come…
