POWER QUEST Signs With INNER WOUND RECORDINGS

Inner Wound Recordings are proud to announce the signing of POWER QUEST, one of the premiere melodic power metal bands in the world, to the label. The band will hit the studio in April and the new album is scheduled to be released in October.

Known for their catchy, uplifting sound and superb live shows, PQ are back to deliver their 6th album in conjunction with Inner Wound. Having toured with the likes of Helloween, Angra, Freedom Call and Symphony X to name but a few, the band are ready to take things to the next level.

Steve Williams of Power Quest comments:

I’m really pleased to have sealed the deal with Emil and Inner Wound for the release of the next PQ opus. We were in discussions for a couple of months, during which time the salient points of the deal were already agreed before I recently flew to Gothenburg to sign the agreement in person. In this age of faceless business it was refreshing to do things the old fashioned way. I’m really excited about this collaboration and we have a lot of cool things planned for the next 12 months.

Mantar Posts Official Lyric Video For “The Spell”

Monstrous black/doom/punk chimera MANTAR have announced to release a 10″ vinyl EP entitled »The Spell«.

»The Spell« will contain 3 previously unreleased songs and is set to be released on March 31 via Nuclear Blast. The title track features Okoi Jones from Swiss extreme metal duo BÖLZER on guest vocals. Responsible for the haunting cover art is renowned artist Aaron Wiesenfeld ( http://www.aronwiesenfeld.com ) who was also responsible for MANTAR‘s debut record’s artwork.

WEDNESDAY 13 – Sign to Nuclear Blast!

WEDNESDAY 13 has signed a new deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment and is set to release his seventh solo studio album, titled »Condolences«, on June 2nd.

The horror punk kingpin and former-MURDERDOLLS frontman is thrilled to be joining his new record label home, telling us, “We’re so excited to finally announce that we have signed with Nuclear Blast Entertainment! It’s an honor for us to be on the roster among so many other great bands and friends. Thanks to Nuclear Blast for giving us the opportunity and our fans for your undying support. We’re looking forward to many more years of this with all of you.”

WEDNESDAY 13 will embark on a tour of the UK later this month with his ‘Undead, Unplugged’ tour. The intimate evening features an extended set of acoustic versions taken from his extensive catalog, plus a wealth of tales regaled from years on the road with early projects MANIAC SPIDER TRASH and the FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS FROM PLANET 13, through to the debauched heights of MURDERDOLLS and more recently, his lengthy current solo career. Support on the tour comes from his outlaw country side-project, BOURBON CROW – featuring Wednesday’s longtime friend and singer/songwriter Rayen Belchere.

EPHEMERALD Signed with Rockshots Records! First Lyric Video ” I bear Fire”

New Finnish Metal Phenomenon EPHEMERALD has signed a deal with Rockshots Records regarding the release of their debut single “I Bear Fire”.

EPHEMERALD is a metal band from Finland, formed in the autumn 2016 by Joni Snoro (ex-Frosttide), Lauri Myllylä (ex-Frosttide), Vesa Salovaara (Vorna) and Juho Suomi (Apocryfal & Prayed and Betrayed). Their music can be described as straightforward, fast-paced, epic and melodic metal music accompanied by huge orchestrations and both clean and harsh vocals.

HierophantTour Dates Announced

Following two warming-up show earlier this year, HIEROPHANT will be kicking off their full string of Italian dates at the Paniere Il Circolo in Crema tonight in support of their latest release ‘Mass Grave’. The Italians will continue on to ravage their home country with one strike across the border towards Fribourg, Switzerland at the Nouveau Monde on the 12th of February.

HIEROPHANT commented: “We are very stoked to hit the road again. We are starting with a run of Italian shows and another in the UK will follow right after that. We can be nothing but grateful for all the support we got lately. Mark your date in the calendar and see you in the grave!”
