Alright, it is true that we recently claimed that the billing of Prophecy Fest 2022 was complete. Well, we have good reasons to believe, nobody will complain that we are adding another band to the programme, especially as this concerns a group of dear long-time friends from France: ALCEST!
The French post-black metal or blackgaze traiblazers have released their acclaimed first 5 albums that are each already considered as modern classics via our label. Prophecy Productions are successively reissuing the band’s catalogue, of which the latest was the beautiful 10th Anniversary Edition of “Écailles de Lune” in 2020. And don’t tell anybody yet, but ALCEST and the label are already working together on a new edition of “Les Voyages de l’Âme”.

The UK’s biggest rock and metal festival returned to its full glory with its first full-scale event three years after the pandemic following the historic pilot event last year. It was a surreal and joyful feeling to be back at Donnington for festival goers and bands alike and was the sentiment of the weekend. We have all waited so long for live music to return, and it was worth the wait. The variety and calibre of music, the atmosphere and unusually stunning sunny weather made this anticipated return even better.

The clock is ticking! PREVIEW: Download Festival UK 10-12th June 2022
Download Festival is making its highly anticipated return with its first full-scale festival in three years. The big rock reunion party, which kicks off the festival season, will take place on 10-12th June 2022 at the Donnington Park, Leicestershire. The massive return also will see some major site improvement plans following feedback, so it is now even more equipped to take on the hordes of metal heads. After such a long wait, the festival is packing a hefty line-up. Here are just some bands we recommend you catch over the loaded weekend!
