“Your Favorite Toy,” the titular first single of Foo Fighters’ forthcoming 12th full-length studio album, has been released.
The first new FF music of 2026, “Your Favorite Toy” is nothing short of an insidious earworm. Jagged guitar shards and sinister keyboard stabs bob and weave atop a relentless rhythmic pulse, as Dave Grohl unleashes a newfound sardonic vocal tone on infectious choruses:
Get back Hear that, boy? Someone threw away your favorite toy for good For good
Time to start training for your local rock and roll marathon: Foo Fighters have confirmed their first stadium tour since the massive 2023-2024 Everything or Nothing at All run that sold out football and baseball fields the world over. Kicking off August 4 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, the new tour will see Foo Fighters bringing the maximum volume euphoria of the band’s recent surprise US club gigs and overseas outdoor / arena spectaculars to a total of 12 North American cities, concluding (for now) September 26 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
The 3.7 earthquake a few miles west of Atascadero wasn’t the only seismic activity to rock San Luis Obispo County last night, as Foo Fighters treated a capacity crowd of FF faithful at the Fremont Theater — many of whom camped out overnight for tickets — to a career-spanning set featuring the thunderous debut of new FF drummer Ilan Rubin.
Foo Fighters mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s classic 1995 debut with the opening salvo of its next chapter: “Today’s Song,” the first taste of new Foo Fighters music since 2023’s universally acclaimed But Here We Are, is now available across digital platforms.
An indelible anthem in the time-honored Foo Fighters tradition, “Today’s Song” bristles with unbridled optimism from its subtle melodic intro through the peaks of its soaring crescendos. With lyrical themes of personal evolution and perseverance in the face of life’s uncertainty and the passage of time, “Today’s Song” is nothing short of a three-minute-fifteen-second epic.
As they wind down their current run of Australian stadium dates, Foo Fighters have added three new headline dates to the global juggernaut that is the Everything or Nothing at All Tour:
May 1 — Dallas TX – Dos Equis Pavilion May 7 — Raleigh NC – Coastal Credit Union Music Park May 9 — Charlotte NC – PNC Music Pavilion
Support on the new dates will come from Nova Twins.
General on sale for tickets to the three newly announced dates will begin Thursday, December 14 at 10am local time. For pre-sales and further information, please visit foofighters.com.
The upcoming release of ‘The Benefit Concert Volume 20‘ by Warren Haynes includes a spectacular highlight: the first-ever–and only to date–performance of Dave Grohl’s 23-minute instrumental epic, “Play,” which extends to an extraordinary 36 minutes in its live rendition. This live performance is now available, offering fans the opportunity to witness “Play” being brought to life on that unforgettable evening.
