Scorpions and Machine Head top of the bill at #GMM24!


Headliners for Sunday 23 June 2024.

With Scorpions and Machine Head we are adding the headliners for Sunday to the line-up of #GMM24. Together with Tool, Five Finger Death Punch, Judas Priest, Bring Me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold they will lay siege to Dessel in June 2024. Scorpions will close out the South Stage on Sunday 23 June and that same evening Machine Head will headline the North Stage. More confirmations for Graspop Metal Meeting 2024 will follow soon!

Bring Me The Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold confirmed for #GMM24!


New headliners for Saturday 22 June 2024.

So far our headliner tally for #GMM24 stood at three with Tool, Five Finger Death Punch and Judas Priest. Now we are adding another two titans to the 2024 line-up with Bring Me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold. On Saturday, Bring Me the Horizon will close out proceedings on the South Stage whereas Avenged Sevenfold will do the same on the North Stage.

Friday headliners for GMM 2024 Revealed!


Five Finger Death Punch and Judas Priest top of the bill on Friday 21 June 2024.

Following the announcement of our Thursday headliners Tool, it is now time to divulge the names of our two top acts for Friday 21 June! Las Vegas natives Five Finger Death Punch are headlining the South Stage while British heavy metal icons Judas Priest will do the honours on our North Stage.

Tool confirmed as first headliner for GMM2024!


Gear up for a trip through a sonic universe bursting at the seams with hypnotic tracks and baffling visuals. On Thursday 20 June 2024, Tool will wrap up proceedings on our South Stage. The iconic progressive metal band from Los Angeles headed by Maynard James Keenan is making its GMM debut this year.

Formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, the American progressive metal band has a reputation for staging jaw-dropping live performances, both on a musical and visual level. In 2019, after a 13-year recording hiatus, they released their last studio album to date with ‘Fear Inoculum’, containing the Grammy-nominated tracks ‘7empest’ (Best Metal Performance) and ‘Fear Inoculum’ (Best Rock Song). The band is known for its complex and experimental style, lathered with progressive rock, alternative metal and art rock influences.

TOOL RETURNS TO COPENHELL


TOOL has announced their highly-anticipated return to Europe next summer and will visit COPENHELL on June 22, 2024.

News of the band’s European tour follows a particularly busy time for the Los Angeles- foursome TOOL, currently in the midst of a North American tour that extends into February next year. Over the last five months, TOOL has headlined Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals, as well as a performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as “a mind-melting, triumphant showcase of just how singular their art is, a transcendental experience that surpasses genre boundaries.”

Desertfest London announces 25 bands for 2024 edition


Desertfest London have unveiled 25 bands for their 12th edition, taking place across multiple venues in Camden next May 17th – 19th.
 
Following their pandemic induced cancellation in 2020, Desertfest is thrilled to announce desert rock pioneers Masters of Reality for the event. It will be the band’s first UK appearance in almost a decade. Masters of Reality is the brainchild of legendary producer Chris Goss (Welcome to Sky Valley, Rated R, Blues for The Red Sun, Dust, Songs for The Deaf). Their combination of hard-rock blues with a progressive tinge makes no apologies for not sticking within the stylised box listeners would expect, yet simultaneously provides the perfect lesson in the musical ethos and story-telling of the Palm Desert scene – all led by the man who laid its foundations.
