Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, is back to celebrate its epic 20 year legacy with four headline sets for the first time ever. Announced today are headliners Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon and Metallica, who will deliver two massive no-repeat performances. This year the festival will take place over four days on 8-11 June 2023 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. General tickets are onsale at 10am on Thursday 10 November at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.

BLOODSTOCK reveals first batch of 2023 bands!


BLOODSTOCK festival is thrilled to already be looking ahead and announcing a swathe of awesome bands for the 2023 event, which is set to take place on 10th-13th August 2022 at Catton Park, Derbyshire. 

Metalcore pioneers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are set to headline the Ronnie James Dio main stage on Friday, their first ever appearance at the festival. Meanwhile, thrash legends MEGADETH will close out proceedings in spectacular style on Sunday night. Other confirmed main stage bands include DEVILDRIVER, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, KNOCKED LOOSE, DECAPITATED and GATECREEPER.

Wacken Open Air 2023 will be a big one, no doubt. And a lot of it, because it will be a four-day-festival for the first time. While in 2022 fans needed an extra ticket for Wacken Wednesday, that day will be included for everybody in 2023 – the festivities will start officially on Wednesday, Aug 2. We all know it’s true: Things have to get loud in the North during the first weekend of August. And we all missed it, that’s for sure. Just have a look at the big metal party currently underway…
