Award winning director MATT “THE LORD” ZANE and co-director DAGON DESTROYER have begun working on a new film exploring the shock rock genre. This will be Zane’s follow up to 2022’s documentary “The Altered Noise” which was about his former bandmate DV KARLOFF.

Shock Rock veterans Society 1 have announced that their former drummer Dagon Destroyer will be rejoining the band for their upcoming “Exit Through Fear” 20th anniversary tour. A large portion of the dates will be on the Rise Of The Machines tour with Static-X, Fear Factory, Mushroomhead and DOPE. Additional shows are still being booked.
The band’s most successful album, Exit Through Fear, which was originally released on Earache Records made an impression in 2003 due to the first music video of the album to feature lead vocalist LORD ZANE performing body suspension. Drummer Dagon was featured in the video and did a large portion of the subsequent touring.

Roadrunner United was a project organized by iconic hard rock record label Roadrunner Records to celebrate its 25th anniversary, culminating in the U.S. Billboard Top 200, UK Albums, and Australian ARIA Albums-charting original The All Star Sessions. Four “team captains” (Slipknot’s Joey Jordison, Machine Head’s Robb Flynn, Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares, and Trivium’s Matthew K. Heafy) were chosen to lead 57 artists from 45 past and present Roadrunner bands. It was truly a heavy metal family affair — and then some!
