“We Owe You Nothing”, the ninth studio album from Italian black/doom metal overlords FORGOTTEN TOMB, is set to be released on October 27th in Europeand November 10th in North America via Agonia Records. The album’s title track & first single is available in the form of a lyric video, at this link:

“We Owe You Nothing” marks the highest point in the band’s constant evolution and once more makes it hard to narrow down its sound to some pre-existing labels. Since 1989, Canada’s ANNIHILATOR have not stopped putting out records and touring the world.  Despite the ever-changing climate of the metal world (and releasing a series of “different” metal records with various lineups along the way), Jeff Waters and company have consistently delivered strong albums since the band’s debut Alice In Hell.  Then there was 1990’s best-selling Never, Neverland, 1995’s King of The Kill, Schizo Deluxe in 2005 and many other critically-acclaimed releases up until 2015’s Suicide Society. The ‘under-the-radar’ influence of this band, and writer/guitarist/vocalist Jeff Waters, has been felt throughout the entire realm of the metal world by a ton of well-known musicians and bands; that influence even stretching into the hard rock and instrumentalist genre.
 
ANNIHILATOR‘s main man Jeff Waters, in his usual humble manner, offers this in response: “ANNIHILATOR‘s music has been influenced by a good hundred of my favorite bands and musicians; you can hear their contributions to what I have been doing all throughout ANNIHILATOR‘s catalogue. RIVERSIDE – European tour starts next week!

Progressive Rock masters RIVERSIDE are starting their European tour next week and have now checked in with the following comment:

Hello Everyone,
In a week we’re starting the final leg of “Towards The Blue Horizon Tour 2017”, the tour with which RIVERSIDE came back to life on stage. Two sold out concerts in February in Progresja, Warsaw, and the exceptional welcome and crowds at the April and May concerts in Poland and Europe, made us regain strength and faith in the future. Thank you all very much for allowing us to come back.
After the holiday break and a few summer festivals, we will go back to playing in clubs. We will perform the final 13 concerts in the places we haven’t yet visited this year. Please forgive us for not being able to go everywhere, we promise to make it up in the future.
We have been joined on guitar by Maciej Meller who has approached Piotr’s guitar parts with huge respect, retaining the atmosphere and character of our music. We hope that the two-hour evenings with RIVERSIDE music will make all of us feel that we are taking part in an important event and this year will be remembered as the good one.

The fourth album from hellenic black metal legends NERGAL is now available via Hammer Of Damnation.

Heavy Metal band TYTUS back in the recording studio!

Following the great response to their first album “Rises” (Sliptrick Records – 2016) and a bunch of killer live gigs in festivals like MetalDays (Slovenia), Home Fest (Italy) and others, Tytus are back to their beloved Track Terminal Studio (Italy) to record some new stuff. 

The ten songs on the new album are going to be something in between the NWOBHM and the speed/thrash metal of the early days.
