Alice Cooper Is Back With “Alice’s Attic” Radio Show, Touring, + More


Rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Famer ALICE COOPER is relaunching his long-running radio show today, Monday, February 5 with a new name and a new syndication partner.

“Alice’s Attic” will now be syndicated via Superadio.

Cooper will be working with the same creative team from his long-running and much-loved “Nights With Alice Cooper” radio show and the new program will feature a curated mix of classic and some obscure rock, with an occasional “future classic” song, plus Cooper’s stories and commentary about the music and artists he features.

GOTHMINISTER wins first heat of Eurovision Song Contest pre-qualifications for Norway with “We Come Alive”


GOTHMINISTER made it into the Melodi Grand Prix Final 2024 for Norway! With its gripping single, “We Come Alive”, the industrial goth metal act has won the first round of the country’s preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest, and is currently considered one of the top 3 favorites by both press critics and fans alike. The Norwegian MGP Final will take place on February 3, 2024.

A MESSAGE FROM CROSSFAITH


Crossfaith have decided to part ways with bassist Hiroki Ikegawa. 

About the departure, the band stated: “We want to thank him for journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future.
In the meantime, we continue to work on current Japan tour as well as new music.”

Frontman Josh Franceschi says “When we started YMAS we were kids. We only ever wanted longevity, to travel and to experience life as a group of friends. We feel like on the eve of our 20th anniversary as a band, now is a good time to call time. We’re in a fortunate position where our fans still want to see us live and come celebrate the life of this band. So that is what we will do for 2024 and 2025. The COPENHELL 2024 music line-up will soon be finalised with today’s announcement of 15 new bands: TOM MORELLO, THE HIVES, ACCEPT, HATEBREED, ORM, URIAH HEEP, SIAMESE, UNDEROATH, EMPIRE STATE BASTARD, VANSIND, SKULLCLUB, BRAND OF SACRIFICE, SPOTLIGHTS, VULVATORIOUS and THE BABOON SHOW.

This brings the total amount of bands so far up to 71 during four hard and heavy festival days with TOOL, LIMP BIZKIT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and MACHINE HEAD as this year’s big headliners.

DESERTFEST LONDON announces day splits alongside 32 additional artists for this year’s festival


Desertfest London has revealed their day and stage splits for their 13th edition, taking place this May across multiple venues in Camden, London.

The festival proudly welcomes Masters of Reality as Friday’s Electric Ballrooms headliners, with Chris Goss at the helm providing a master-class in desert sounds. Plus, newly announced for this stage are Colour Haze and Frankie and The Witch Fingers who will join Brant Bjork Trio and Mondo Generator to kick off the weekend in true Desertfest style. Mantar and Raging Speedhorn will shake-up the Underworld, whilst Brume and Alber Jupiter psych-out at The Black Heart.
