ARCH ENEMY – reveal music video for debut single, “The World Is Yours”
ARCH ENEMY have risen once again and are ready to accelerate at full force as they unleash the masterful new single, “The World Is Yours”, taken from their forthcoming album, “Will To Power”, due out on September 8 via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS worldwide.
Mastermind Michael Amott comments, “We’ve been hard at work on the new album for a while now and we’re proud to present the first taste of new Arch Enemy music in over three years with our new single and video, ‘The World Is Yours’! This was the first song I wrote for the upcoming ‘Will To Power’ album and Daniel (Erlandsson, drums) helped me arrange and finish it up. One of many songs we co-wrote and co-produced this time around. We had a blast recording together with the full band in the south of Sweden and then mixing with Jens Bogren, who did a superb mix and mastering – in my opinion even surpassing the epic sound on our previous record, ‘War Eternal’. People that have heard this song in particular are saying it’s got the classic anthemic Arch Enemy vibe going on, and I think they might be right about that… Looking forward to playing it live on stage later this summer!”

“Will To Power” promises to be the ultimate statement of heavy metal supremacy and will mark the first album the band have recorded with their current line-up — ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ (Vocals), MICHAEL AMOTT (Guitars), JEFF LOOMIS (Guitars), SHARLEE D’ANGELO (Bass), and DANIEL ERLANDSSON (Drums). Bent Knee have unveiled their gripping music video for ‘Time Deer’. The video and song are a stunning depiction and commentary on our ever-changing and strained relationship with technology and our environment, just one of the many themes discussed on band’s critically-acclaimed album Land Animal.
The director Riki Nitabaru comments: “Before I began working on the animation, I spent some time thinking about how to portray the song’s story in visuals. The story centers around a deer that travels through time, trying to find the cause of humanity’s problems in the modern world. I thought it would be too dull to draw that up literally, so I interpreted the story in my own way to add some flare.
In my take, just as the deer finds the cause of all strife, the world starts to cleanse itself. The deer becomes a receptacle of all living things, and it morphs to become a brand new being that encompasses all life forms.
Since I had this storyboard in my mind, putting together the production was like a simple puzzle. There were times where I was unsure what to draw for specific moments of the song. But, I found inspiration in the drama portrayed in the music, and was able to create something better than I first imagined.
I hope this video enhances your enjoyment of Bent Knee!”

Bent Knee formed in 2009 as a democratic collective determined to push the boundaries of pop and rock. Lead singer and keyboardist Courtney Swain’s soaring vocals are instantly arresting. Guitarist Ben Levin is one of the most dynamic and versatile guitarists around, shifting between the raging and raucous to the sublime and meditative. Bassist Jessica Kion and drummer Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth combine into an enthralling rhythm section that’s equal parts powerhouse and nuance.
