Metallica has announced the definitive re-release of the band’s 5x platinum sixth studio album Load, out June 13 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings.
Remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering with Greg Fidelman overseeing, the Load Remastered Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set is available now for pre-order at https://www.metallica.com/store/load-remastered/ where full package details and track listings can be viewed. Pre-orders of the Deluxe Box will receive instant grat tracks “Until It Sleeps (Remastered),” “Until It Sleeps (Herman Melville Mix),” “F.O.B.D. Matthew Kiichi Heafy releases original soundtrack for comic series ‘True Believers’ on 24th April, out on FiXT, ‘Dance Of The Dead’ out now.
Matthew Kiichi Heafy, mastermind and frontman of the metal band Trivium (who are currently on their North American Tour with Bullet for My Valentine), unleashed an original 30-minute soundtrack for the crowd-funded slasher comic series True Believers, co-written by New York Times bestselling Bram Stoker Award-winner Stephen Graham Jones (The Only Good Indians, My Heart is a Chainsaw) and Denver Post bestselling writer Joshua Viola (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, It Came from the Multiplex), with interior artwork by Ben Matsuya.

Finnish metal band Gothony release their first demo, originally released in 1995, on streaming services
Finnish metal band Gothony released Demo 1995 on streaming services via Inverse Records.
30 years ago Gothony’s first demo saw the light of day. The demo was recorded and mixed by Hiili Hiilesmaa at MD Studios in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki in early 1995. An edition of 200 cassettes was made. Sales started in the summer of 1995. Now the time has come to re-release this three track demo on streaming services.
