JAKOB STEGELMANN AND THE AARHUS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AT COPENHELL 2026

Geek music returns to COPENHELL as Jakob Stegelmann visits the festival for the third time, joining forces with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra to perform timeless music from grand entertainment productions for the festival audience.

When the legendary Danish entertainment figure Jakob Stegelmann once again takes the stage at COPENHELL with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, it is more than just another concert – it is a triumphal march for geek culture, for imagination and for everything that we grew up with and still love today.

As the host of the Danish TV show Troldspejlet (“The Magic Mirror”) since the ’80s, Stegelmann has been Denmark’s undisputed front figure of geek culture for decades. With his passion, curiosity and distinctive storytelling, he has opened the portal to the wondrous and fantastic universe that has shaped generations of geeks, metalheads and adventurers. Next year, he returns to COPENHELL as the natural bridge between symphonic grandeur and wild festival energy.

Together with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Stegelmann creates a music experience where the orchestra’s power and precision meet his vivid storytelling. The audience is taken on a journey through iconic soundscapes, epic themes and that special kind of magic that arises when great music meets great stories.

This isn’t just about nostalgia – it is about passion. About the joy of the stories that made us dream, fight and laugh. About the sound of our childhood, our nights in front of the screen and the battles we still fight in our hearts. It will be a concert experience that brings goosebumps, big smiles and maybe even a tear or two to the eye.

Jakob Stegelmann and the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra won’t just celebrate geek music as a genre – but as a way of life. And where to honor it better than at COPENHELL?
