For the 11th time, up to 30 international industry representatives are presented with some of Denmark’s best and sharpest new bands from the hard and heavy genres by COPENHELL at When COPENHELL Freezes Over 2024.
Through more than a decade, COPENHELL and MXD have helped several Danish rock and metal bands across the country’s borders and out into the rest of the world with record deals and international representation by agencies and managements, as well as increased international attention to the Danish music scene.
As recently as last winter, a lot of industry representatives were convinced by the young act Nakkeknaekker’s performance, which resulted in a record deal with the high-profile label Nuclear Blast, international European booking representation by Napalm Events and American representation by AGI.
The formula has worked as intended over the years: Gather a strong line-up of local bands on their home ground and let a group of international industry representatives experience them live. COPENHELL, MXD and VEGA have helped with coordination, strong presentations and marketing, as well as speed meetings and networking, which has turned When COPENHELL Freezes Over into the optimal platform for spreading hard rock and heavy metal from Denmark to the rest of the world.

COPENHELL ROCK ACADEMY APPLICATIONS STILL OPEN
Applications for COPENHELL Rock Academy will close on November 10! We have a few spots left for this cool weekend full of insights into the Danish rock and metal scene for young girls and non-binary persons in the age 13-19 years – and we would like to encourage particularly music fans from the Copenhagen area to apply.

PREPARE FOR THE GREAT COPENHELL MERCHANDISE YARD SALE
From November 18 at 11:00 and all the way until Christmas (or as long as we have items in store), COPENHELL will run a special pop-up shop in the store Lövendahl at Sønder Boulevard 97 in Copenhagen with amazing offers on festival merchandise!
We will empty our store of assorted merchandise, and you will find items that are not available on the shelves at the festival and in our online store, among other things rare merchandise all the way back from 2012, at really great prices – only DKK 100 for T-shirts and DKK 200 for hoodies.
We are very happy to run this sale together with Lövendahl, which you might also have visited at the festival. We are proud to support one of the capital’s blackest stores by letting half of the proceeds from the sale go directly to Lövendahl.
Please note: Lövendahl will not be able to answer inquiries about specific items or sizes, as these can change on a daily basis depending on sales and our store status.
