Omnium Gatherum, who released their Slasher EP earlier this year, is heading to their new European tour the day after tomorrow, Thursday. To speed up this trip , a video for the Lovelorn song found on the EP has now been released, which used the Unreal Engine 5 software known from the game world. Director Janne Tamminen (Xarena), who has already worked with the band before and moved to California, is responsible for making the video.
“With Lovelorn, one story ends and a new one begins. There are still places to visit, but our brains and souls are already working on a new bite from the OG kingdom. New musical adventures await us all, and in the future we intend to take everyone for a full speed ride on unknown and cruel streets”. vocalist Jukka Pelkonen paints the future.
Markus Vanhala, the guitarist of Omnium Gatherum, who was also seen as an Emma candidate last year, also characterizes the now released video as the closing point of the Slasher EP era.
“Lovelorn is a death metal ballad that showcases OG’s more country side and flirts with gothic, and coincidentally, it’s also a great gateway to an upcoming European tour with Paradise Lost, Primordial and Harakiri For The Sky.”
